This place was a last minute find on our way home from Iowa to Virginia Beach. After finding out every hotel was booked because of the Greenbrier classic, we were very relieved that there were still rooms available! The whole Inn was extremely clean and the staff was more than polite as we lugged our bags in at 12:30 a.m.... More

Quiet and clean place just off I-64. Comfortable furniture made for a great night. This place is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mountains, trees and wildlife. If you are passing through, stop.

Very well furnished, comfortable, CLEAN, well lit rooms. NONE SMOKING facility. YEAH!! Furniture not just for looks, Comfortable bed and easy chair. Well placed lamps with bulbs bright enough to read by. I would have given a 5 point review, however it is a bit remote, even though it has direct access to Rt 64. It does not serve breadfast.... This is a place you would miss, if not looking for it. It sits just off I-64, along with a gas station. We like to small places like this one when we travel. It is very clean and nice. It has free wi-fi. No breakfast, but you are not over 20 miles from a town in either direction. If we... More

I usually don't post reviews, but this hotel is worth writing about. My #1 criterion for a hotel is that it is clean, and the Dawson certainly is. The room and the bed were very comfortable. (Better than my own home ...LOL) The staff was so welcoming I felt like I was visiting with old friends. In additional to all... More

We picked this place at random and were so pleasantly surprised. It is white-glove clean which is no longer the norm for hotels in this price-range. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and attraction suggestions. This is a convenient location for a short, beautiful drive to Hawk's Nest State Park and the New River Gorge. There is coffee... More

Looking for a motel that offers a room that offers cleanliness? I'm always leery to stop at private label motels, but this motel offered a room that was spotless and the carpet couldn't have been any cleaner. This establishment offers great quality for the price!

This place is not a chain, and not high class. But is is extremely clean, the staff is friendly, and the rates are outstanding. Great overnight stop for travellers. Not much around for dining, but for rest and quiet in a clean great value setting, this is the place.

This modest little two story American owned Mom & Pop hotel is a real haven. Ultra clean, comfortable, attractive, friendly, and quiet, at budget rates. Caught in unexpected snow end of March in the Mts., I needed to stop, and saw their sign at exit #150. No continental breakfast, but a nice little restaurant out front. No elevators, but wide... This little Mom & Pop hotel was a sweet find. In spite of no continental breakfast, the accommodations were spotless, comfortable, attractive, and amenable. The staff/owner was delightful, personable, and helpful. This place is away from all the hubbub of normal lodging exits, yet did have a restaurant next door. Other than that, beautiful views of the mountains, wonderful quiet,... More
