We liked the Kookwink so much that we changed our motorcycle touring plans to stay an extra night. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and reasonable rates. First and foremost - this place is clean. The rooms were planned with a lot of forethought. Plenty of room - double sinks - comfortable beds. We *L*O*V*E* the Koolwink Motel! We have property in the mountains of Romney and stay at the Koolwink when we get into town late don't have time to set up camp. I would not consider another motel. Having heard great things about the Koolwink, I and a work colleague chose to stay here while visiting Romney. It was fabulous. The rooms are a moment out of time, and immaculately clean. Wonderfully retro - be sure to ask at the desk for the Mr. Koolwink coffee mugs that are available for purchase. Overall, a real treasure. more
