didn't like the way we were treated, it was almost as if we weren't the type of people he was used to dealing with. The area, the building and the room all neat and clean. In this price range you can not wish any better! Not everything is brand new, but well equipped, everything works. (The latest addition is LCD TV-s.) Simple, but tastefully decorated, and clean! I mean every corner, every edge dustless, the bathroom is spotless. It was CLEAN! more

We liked the Kookwink so much that we changed our motorcycle touring plans to stay an extra night. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and reasonable rates. It was a great find and it now on our list of places to stay again. Motorcycle friendly, too. It's about 3/4 mile from the center of town. more

First and foremost - this place is clean. The rooms were planned with a lot of forethought. Plenty of room - double sinks - comfortable beds. Far better accomodations than some of the big chains in bigger cities and the person we talked with to make our reservation was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't have to think twice about... more
