Joyce was a great help from the time we arrived, recommending the best tent camp spot on the river, to stopping by daily to see if we needed more firewood or anything else. Many campers come for months at a time or the entire summer - everyone very friendly. Good family campground!

My wife and I attended the Pickin In Parsons Bluegrass Festival at Five Rivers Campground in Sept/Aug of 2014. We were just a bit apprehensive entering the campground via the junkyard, but those fears were soon allayed by the casual friendliness of the ticket attendants and the young gentleman who escorted our camper to its parking spot in meadow. I attend a bluegrass festival at this campground. The owners do a wonderful job!! As for the camping...nice...I know how to plan ahead. The town will provide you with all you need. Remember you are in the area for the outdoors, not shopping and restaurants.

The good: --The campground is right next to a peaceful river.
