Was in Parkersburg on business and stayed at the Blannerhassett. From first step in the door I was uniformly impressed by the outstanding service. Hotel is a gem. Staff, food and everything else was extremely impressive. One of the most memorable business stays in years. more

When staying at a hotel one weekend in Marietta, OH, I encountered a couple who said I may want to consider this place the next time I was looking for a weekend getaway. After looking up the hotel's website, I was a bit scared the rates would be ultra-lofty, but decided to "go for it" anyway. I actually got a... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. I was soloing with the local symphony and this is where they put us up. It was wonderful!!!!! Historic, yet spotless. And the attention to detail was marvelous. Extremely friendly staff. Gorgeous hotel. Beautiful rooms with comfy beds, first class amenities, fast wireless internet, tons of tv stations and super quiet.... more

I spent last weekend with my two adult daughters at the Blennerhasset. It was our first visit and we were very impressed. This is a beautifully furnished hotel, and the bathroom is huge and completely modern. We had room service for an outstanding breakfast at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely recomment this hotel, and actually it's worth the... more

We have stayed here twice and just love it. The suites are amazing and the food at the restaurant is to die for. It's been a while since we've been and I can't wait to go back. more

We stayed 2 nights at the Blennerhasset based on recommendations from The Washington Post's Travel section (online). It's a historic hotel with lovely, clean rooms. We booked an affordable junior suite since we were traveling with our tween. The hotel was fully booked the first night (Saturday). However, the place is SO quiet. All 3 of us had a great... more

Beautiful! I was apprehensive when I drove up, but totally put at ease when I parked in front and walked in. The first room I was given had no hot water and the bath / shower was not draining. I called the desk and they immediately moved me to another room. Everything about this hotel is great, rooms, linens, Starbucks... more

My sister and I spent one night at the Blennershassett on an eleven day road trip through WV. This is a lovely historic hotel with very friendly staff. The bell hop/valet met us at our car, unloaded our luggage and valet parked our car at no additional charge. When I jokingly told him to take good care of my car... more

I don't know that there is a great reason to go to Parkersburg. It's a nice town and all, but really not much to do there. That said, the Blennerhassett is a nice old hotel with a good restaurant, great beds, and an old and welcoming atmosphere. Nothing here is as polished as the fancy new chains, but it is... more
