Just back from one night stay at the Comfort Inn Aikens Center. Easy to find from I-81, convenient to downtown. Older property in generally good shape. Common areas were clean and inviting. Staff upon arrival very friendly and efficient with check-in. Other staff encountered were friendly and helpful as well. Non-smoking room on second floor overlooking outdoor pool. Clean with... more

This hotel has the friendlest staff I have ever met, they treat all of the guest like they are family. I met the sales manager and the general manager and they were great! They helped me find the business I was looking for and didn't act like I was bothering them, like the other Comfort Hotel on rt. 9. When... more

I can't believe this hotel was rated 3rd. I got the govt. rate of $70 and it's not even worth that. This hotel is OLD. The microwave in my room still is a turn knob as is the air conditioning/heater. Ceiling has small holes in it and is peeling. Grout in the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in years. I found... more

We stayed at the Martinsburg Comfort Inn Aikens Center one night in early May. We chose it on the basis of Trip Adviser reviews, a modest rate and as a conveniently placed stop on our trip through the area. Our choice turned out to be a good one. This hotel won a recent award from their chain, and it appeared... more

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family. The person who complained about it being an older hotel with smokers standing outside must have stayed somewhere else and was mistaken. This hotel has smoking rooms on the fourth floor so there is no reason to stand outside to smoke. There are microwaves, refrigerators, coffeepots and hairdryers in the rooms.... more

From UK and visited with wife and son on 23 July 2006 for one night, on a travelling holiday in the Capital Region. Overall, best Comfort Inn we have stayed in so far. Older, experienced reception staff nicely balanced efficiency and friendliness making us very comfortable immediately. Very clean hotel and as the weather was very hot we were pleased... more

My teenage son and I stayed here one night recently when visiting Antietam, which is about a 30 minute drive. The hotel was nice. What really stood out, however, was the friendliness of the staff at the reception desk. They were all so friendly! The room was fine and the continental breakfast good. This hotel was fine for a brief... more

We stayed at this hotel on October 7, and have no complaints. A previous reviewer from Texas who stated that he/she did not care for the hotel because it was older, not clean, etc, must have stayed somewhere else, or things may have changed. The hotel seemed fairly new, everything was clean, staff were friendly, continental breakfast was above par,... more

We have now stayed at Comfort Inn Aikens Center a total of seven times, and it is our target hotel for every trip between NC and NJ. From our experience of making this trip many times, this is the best hotel for the price on the I-81 corridor. Continental breakfast is above par, outdoor pool is good, Italian restaurant across... more

If you are in Martinsburgh, stay at the comfort inn on short road. It is a little further off the interstate but much better than this one. This hotel is older, and not clean. People stand outside to smoke so you have to walk through second hand smoke. I did not care for this hotel at all. more
