A group of us stayed a few nights in May 2012 and rode motorcycles in the area during the day. The roads in the area are the best in the country with limited traffic and great views. The Inn is a great central location to take advantage of these roads. You can find maps online and never get bored. The... More

A group of friends decided on this area since the area roads are PERFECT for motorcycle riding. We didn't know much about the inn but were we pleasantly surprised! The breakfast supplied, it's a B&B, was excellent as was the buffet meal at dinner time. They have an excellent chef and the dining area is fantastic. The Inn also has... More

They are located in the middle of the best roads in WV. 10 of us all on bikes stayed here over the weekend. Breakfast was great, we added a group dinner and it was amazing. A few of us were late coming in and they kept our food hot and served it right when we walked in. Very pretty property.... More

This Inn is truly a magical place. It is an upscale B & B, a place where you can feel at home because you are welcome in so many relaxing rooms. The library is amazing!!! The game room kept my children entertained every evening as did the farm each morning. What a fasinating tour of the barn! It is filled... More

My wife and I just returned from a trip to the Inn at Mountain Quest. We had a blast. The location is naturally beautiful. There are nice mountains and valleys. Near the location is a ski area, some small towns, the NRAO Radio Telescope and a whole lot of nature. Onsite they offer everything from hiking trails to billiards to... More

I spent a few relaxing days at Mountain Quest with my boyfriend and it was a wonderful experience! Alex and David were very hospitable and they have created a place where guests can go to unwind and feel relaxed. Andy made an amazing breakfast for us and we were invited to feed the horses, which was a new and exciting... More

We have visited twice this year. The themed rooms and staff are excellent. The owners Alex and David Bennet are two of the most caring people you'll ever meet, and their animals; Arabian and Quarter horses, Llama's, goats and sheep are a real treat. It's a joy just to walk in the quiet fields and woodland of the 450 acres.... More

The weekend I spent at Mountain Quest was one of the best stays I've ever had at a place like this. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful, the house and rooms are delightfully created in thoughtful elegance and the owners bring their open hearts to everything they do. Oh, and the food was delectable. Do yourself a favor and go... More

Mountain Quest Institute near Marlinton, WV is a wonderful place to stay. In September my husband and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary there. In October I attended a Women's Retreat there. Both experiences were uplifting, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The hosts, Dr. Alex and Dr. David Bennet are very personable and hospitable. The food, prepared by Andrew Bennet and... More

What a magical place! I spent the most uplifting weekend there. The Inn itself is filled with items of wonder and surprise. The rooms are beautifully decorated and each one unique in it's decor. With thousands of books on hand the library was never empty. The land too is also filled with magical surprises with the mists in the morning... More
