This place is great. Close to the mountain..25 min drive, The only grocery store in 30 mi radius is steps away. Great price. Probably would not recommend for families with Loud/ obnoxious kids as rooms are not sound proof. Great spot if you need the "base camp" where you come back and crash.

Good price, great location, very helpful owners. I see a couple of poor reviews here-- go to the web site and read about the Old Clark before you go. Maybe you are looking for something else. For me, it was ideal. Breakfast is not like some B&Bs I've been to--it is a motel breakfast. If you want the full-on, there... More

I COULD NOT pass on the offer of extending the mid-week pricing to my weekend stay :) making this the MOST AFFORDABLE hotel within a driving distance to the Snowshoe mountain [I spend about 2 days searching and calling one place after another as they came up on Google maps]. The lady I spoke with over the phone was very... More

Our motorcycle group stayed here and found the innkeepers to be very biker friendly. There is a covered area behind the house complete with a water hose, rags, soap, air and even kickstand pads. Our room, 8B has a Queen bed, small TV and a separate bathroom. It has a old style, free standing bath tub in the middle of... More

When we pulled into the motorcycle-parking-only covered spaces, I knew this was a good sign. The parking spots featured an air compressor, tire gauge, rags and bike-cleaning supplies and kickstand plates. The room was reasonable, with comfortable beds and a shower that worked fine. The owner, Nelson, was forthcoming with good advice about area riding options, where in town you... More

It was our first Tim time staying at the Old Clark Inn. It felt like home. Nelson and Andrea are very knowledgeable about the area and will do their best to answer questions. We will definitely tell our family and friends about this diamond in the rough.

Well run, clean and better than it has any right to be for the price. Nice breakfast included. Old and historic and the antithesis of shlock chain hotels. Hosts go out of their way to be helpful. And succeed.

The Old Clark Inn is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and enjoyable place to stay in the heart of West Virginia. Andrea and Nelson were one of the gems of our visit. They are the perfect hosts and provided many suggestions on restaurants, places to visit, and sites to see. However, they also gave us plenty of space... More

I stayed at this B & B, not the Marlinton Motor INn..... Took a last minute cycle ride to this "playground" area of WV, after reviewing a great article in "RIDER" cycle magazine about the great roads and attractions, and was lucky enough to snag the last room via an email to Andrea and Nelson. Wonderful accomodations, family atmosphere, and... More

We always get a little “rush” when another motorcyclist discovers our little piece of riding heaven. And if they take a liking to our inn it’s that much better! Thanks for choosing us over that other place and for sharing your experience. Hope to see you again before season’s end! More

We were traveling the great Appalachian mountain roads and stayed at the Old Clark Inn in Marlington. Extremely clean with very comfortable beds. It is kind of like an old-fashioned boarding house in the middle of this little town. The owners own and like motorcycles so they have a little covered shed with old rags and a hose to wipe... More
