We were two couples staying at the Old Clark Inn 3 nights while we cycled the Greenbrier Trail and nearby roads. This Inn was built in the 1920s so each of the rooms is different, and furnished appropriately. Though the rooms are large, they are nice, include TV, and some (ours) included an ensuite bath. Plenty of room to tuck... More

I can only second what the other 5-star reviewers have written. Considering that the Old Clark Inn is not a luxury hotel, with very reasonable rates, there is not much more I could have asked for. It really is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The friendly, helpful owners (plus quiet Marlinton) made the stay an absolute... More

I'm rating the Old Clark Inn 5 stars because of the overall experience. It is an old hotel that has been modernized with more bathrooms but still maintains its original charm. Nothing fancy but then neither is the price. I like riding the mountains of WV and usually camp but the Inn will be on my list of places to... More

A very fine place at a moderate price. Comfortable and clean rooms, up-to-date baths, and a very decent breakfast. This is an inn, not a B&B so don't expect the owner to produce a lavish home-cooked meal. There aren't that many places to stay in the area; this one just has to be the best.

I was on a motorcycle trip with a friend and found this place at the last minute in an advertisement. We stayed there for two days and really enjoyed our stay. We each had our own rooms which were very inexpensive, small, and very clean. Each had its own bathroom (again...small), a TV, and a very comfortable bed. There is... More

You'll find a warm welcome from the innkeepers. This inn is close to everything in the central Pocahontas area, and reasonably priced. A few have posted negative reviews and after staying with my family, I thought I'd post a few pointers to help everyone understand what the Old Clark IS and what it ISNT. The Old Clark is a historic... More

We were heading up to Snowshoe for a Pro Gravity GRT mountain bike race. We really didn't know what to expect until I called and talked to Andrea. She was so helpful in explaining what to expect when we arrived. Absolutely beautiful B&B. Very clean. . We really loved our room. We will definitely stay here again!!!!!!!

Very adequate & reasonable! Very nice yard and awesome front pouch! Free wi fi and phone. Easy to call and talk with the owners. It is only a couple blocks of the Greenbrier River Trail. Perfect for cyclists. Also the Greenbrier Rivet Trail is one of the most beautiful and well maintained trails we have ridden on.

We were heading up to Snowshoe for a long weekend of skiing and needed a place to stay that's somewhat nearby and ended up staying at the Old Clark Inn. It's a quaint little Bed and Breakfast in Marlinton, about a half-hour from Snowshoe Mountain. Upon arrival, we called and were given the code to open the front door and... More

This place is great. Close to the mountain..25 min drive, The only grocery store in 30 mi radius is steps away. Great price. Probably would not recommend for families with Loud/ obnoxious kids as rooms are not sound proof. Great spot if you need the "base camp" where you come back and crash.
