I've been spoiled by Blackwater and Canaan for years, but wanted to check out nearby Cranberry Glades and Greenbriar River Trail. Watoga is an old, huge park - with a nice trail system for sure. You can bike or drive to quickly jump on the Greenbriar River Trail, which is awesome. Cranberry Glades is about 20 minutes away by car... More

This camping area is nestled in the mountains of WV and is beside the Greenbrier River. There is a lake within the state park and there are cabin rentals, also. Watoga State Park is located in the middle of many outstanding mountain biking trails and a great place to use as a home base. The trails that we ride are free and range to over 4,000 feet in elevation with spectacular views.
