The Inn at Lost River is a true gem. Host's Toni and Ted are FANTASTIC, make you feel like you are part of the family. Warm, inviting and gracious. Rooms are tastefully decorated, linens are top notch, beds are comfortable. Nice touch of chocolates and water in the room. The property and General Store are quaint and service by all... More

This place is fabulous! The tasteful decor, the yummy food, the charming hosts (Toni & Ted) everything about this place is first class. After three days here I almost cried when I had to leave. Lost River has everything you need for a long weekend or longer. I highly recommend the Inn at Lost River!

Who knew? One classy bed and breakfast in rural West Virginia! We were invited to attend a wedding nearby, and the Inn at Lost River was recommended for lodging. From the moment we made our reservation until the time we checked out, we were impressed with the owners' helpfulness as well as the Inn itself. It is a beautiful Inn,... More

Four of us on a get-away weekend in early November. Couldn't have been better. The Inn is immaculate...and I mean right down to the baseboard trim! Beautifully appointed throughout. Amazing gourmet breakfasts. And new friends in Toni and Ted! At the risk of sounding like an over-sold review, the whole experience was just fantastic and just what we each needed.... More

We stayed mid-week in October…..previous reviewers capture our thoughts…. "What a wonderful inn! Toni and Ted are welcoming and warm. The impeccably decorated inn is immaculate and set in very pretty country. The breakfasts were awesome, custom prepared and using the best ingredients" "They even have a super cool little general store and coffee shop adjacent to the Inn. A... More

My wife and I just spent a week traveling West Virginia, including four nights at the Greenbrier, followed by a single night at the Inn at Lost River. With 20/20 hindsight, might have been better to spend four nights with Ted and Toni at the Inn at Lost River, followed by a single night at the Greenbrier. Their inn is... More

The breakfasts were awesome, custom prepared and using the best ingredients. I am not a B & B person so I wasn't expecting to be that happy but I was. I even got to go next door... More

Thanks to others who have left excellent reviews and the fact that the inn had a last minute cancellation, we were lucky enough to have spent the weekend with our hosts Toni and Ted at the Inn at Lost River. My husband and I were in Lost Creek for a conference and booked our stay for the night at the Inn at Lost River. Wow, what a magnificent property! The Innkeepers and owners, Toni and Ted, are so cool, so accommodating and friendly, and have done a bang up job renovating this property to a first class lodging and dining... More

We stayed at Lost River Inn the third week in October. It was amazing, and the fall foilage was to die for. Toni and Ted were great hosts; we felt very welcome and were well taken care of. We stayed in the Springhouse, which was extremely comfortable with its own private bath and a screened in porch. All the rooms... More
