Okay, it isn't a Hilton but it wasn't that bad. There are other hotels near the Interstate that would be better choices if you are driving. Pillows are lousy and the free drinks use rotgut booze. I've stayed in lots worse in New York for three times the price. more

We were at the Pullman for three days. The fitness center and the pool was closed for all three days of our stay. You also had to let them valet park your car, which would take forever for the staff to retrieve. They do offer a free breakfast that would give any healthy man cholestorol issues. more

Moth-eaten linens, window A/C unit with a death rattle, wafer-thin pillows - general impression of decay, and none-too-clean. Icing on the cake: the bathroom light blew out while in the shower . . . more

The Pullman was very conveniently located. The shuttle service was great! The front desk- Rose, Tess and the other ladies were so kind and helpful. The chef and staff in the breakfast and lunch buffet room deserve kudos on their food and charm. I didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but the free drinks were a definite bonus!... more

Not a good first impression - the night clerk was on private phone call - was disturbed she had to check me in. Room was ok, beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Sliding doors did not close all the way - left a 1" gap allowing the city noise/sirens and cool rainy damp air in all night thus had to... more

After a 10-hour layover for my connecting flight to Charleston, the greeting I received at the hotel check-in desk when asking about my reservation was, "Um, I really hope we have a room for you." Being exhausted, I could only laugh. For some reason, I was given a smoking room even though a non-smoking was requested. They could not change... more

Huntington's Pullman Plaza Hotel was, at one time, part of a well known hotel chain. The facilities are clean but a little dated. The restaurant is very pricey, but the food was good. The hotel provides two complimentary drinks in the bar adjacent to the restaurant, but the options are limited to the house brands of whisky, and the house... more

I'm a Huntington native who now lives out of state, and I remember when this hotel was built - as a Holiday Inn. When I come to Huntington, I need a hotel that is centrally located. I'm also there for several days, so I need the bed to be comfortable. In order to assure the comfortable bed, I book the... more

From the minute I pulled into the Valet area, the service began. Every employee from that point until my departure was super friendly, helpful and professional. Housekeeping was first class and the breakfasts were quite good. I'm a Marshall grad and Pullman fan who will return. I coudn't have been treated any nicer or slept in a nicer facility. The... more

Heading home to Virginia we needed a place to spend the night, all the hotels near the interstate were booked so we drove into town and discovered the Pullman Plaza, which looks very expensive. They had rooms available, quoted at $109. but the desk asst. asked if we had AAA, which gave us a rate of $89 with breakfast included.... more
