My wife and I stayed here once before in June 2013 and loved it so this was our second visit - just as outstanding as the first one! First, I love the peaceful setting of the Inn, out in the country and down a short gravel driveway so you are away from the hustle and bustle. In addition, the views... More

This is a great place to stay! We tied it in with our Potomac Eagle train ride weekend. The rooms have super comfy beds, a deliciously filling breakfast made from scratch, (Gail makes the Best Ever buttermilk waffles) large common rooms for watching tv, reading or playing board games and a front porch with a stunning view! You couldn't ask... More

Absolutely beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the W Virginia countryside. Easy to travel to. The home is very well furnished and the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. Breakfast each morning is fantastic - homemade blueberry scones/muffins are terrific - good coffee. Very flexible to your schedule. The innkeepers are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone... More

If you are looking for a perfect hideaway with delightful hosts in a tasteful and spotless venue, then look no further. Surrounded in 250 acres of stunning woodland owned by your hosts, Gail and Grant, this little piece of tranquil heaven is delightful. They built it 10 years ago and it is truly spotless. I could have donned a white... More

Grant and Gail are charming innkeepers and breakfast was excellent. The place is extremely clean, well decorated, include free wifi, and large TV in one sitting room. The room we had was not extremely large, but plenty comfortable and large enough with gas fireplace and excellent bathroom. Rooms have separate thermostat for air conditioning and heat. There are several sitting... More

My husband and I had the BEST weekend at this B&B! Gail and Grant are the warmest of hosts, doing everything with such ease and beauty! We went to this B&B for our babymoon and were hoping to have some quiet time alone before the birth of our first child. Gail and Grant were so helpful and approachable and they... More

The couple/innkeepers were really nice. The food was good, not the most exotic we've had at a B&B, but good. Homemade waffles, bacon and eggs, and fruit Sat. And homemade apple crumb cake and fruit, French toast, seasoned tomato, and sausage Sun. very quaint, nice area, loved the house...country decor

I wanted to spend the weekend enjoying the fall colors in the Virginia/West Virginia area. I chose the Country In n at High View, and am glad I did. This was my first stay at a B&B, and I doubt I will ever stay in a hotel again. This "Inn" had all the pleasures of home, plus lots more. The... More

We visited this B&B with two of our friends this weekend after reading about it in the Washington Post some time ago, then reading the rave reviews on Trip Advisor - we were not disappointed. We arrived around 4:00 pm on a Fri, after about a 90 min drive from Springfield, VA. We took Rt 50 all the way out... More

A very lovely friend of mine and her husband adore this place, and have gone here twice a year for the past two years. As a wedding gift, they gave myself and my husband two nights at this B&B. We were thrilled the moment we drove up to the B&B. The outside is perfect countryside, with deer roaming in the... More
