My experience was not as a motel guest; it was as a stranded female biker in need. I was overwhelmingly blessed with an amazing, genuine, and truly warm welcome and ready assistance. Kathy Kile and her daughter instantly came to my aid! A regular customer even offered me a ride to Harrisonburg (67 miles away!). HOG Roadside Assistance was unable... More

This is not the Hilton, and it makes no pretense to be anything other than a friendly inn for a weary traveler. It is motorcycle friendly. Yes, it's a bit world-weary, but that is entirely overshadowed by the warm welcome, the superb food at the restaurant next door, (an excellent chef, hand-cut local steaks, fresh local trout, fresh local vegetables... We stayed here one night during a West VA. motorcycle weekend. The facilities are dated, but clean. No problem with reservations, check-in, or check-out. In fact, they encouraged us to park the bike on the porch area in front of our room - which we did. Very handy with having the restaurant in front of the motel. The highlight of... More

Older motel, very quiet, very clean and exceptionally nice personnel. We stayed one night here on a short weekend drive. I had booked with information from Trip Advisor. It is as represented by most comments on here. Only $52 on a Saturday for two. The restaurant adjacent was good for breakfast. The desk lady said they had wi-fi but I... More

I came to this hotel because it had cheap rooms (40.00). So I didn't expect a lot, primarily since the reviews were not that great. They first tried to put me in a room by the highway (state) but I asked if there were any rooms at the same price further away. They allowed me to look at a number... More

Stayed in room 46. Room needed aired. Had a closed up old smell. TV didn't work. Air conditioner was loud. Bed sheets were very clean and new. Room carpeting was stained and rough looking. Bathroom was very clean. I've stayed in $200.00 rooms that didn't have as clean restroom. All in all.....quaint and the price is very affordable. The dining... More

After a long drive through Virginia, we stopped at this motel in the middle of nowhere. During the evening it looked a bit shabby from the outside so we were a bit sceptical. The lady at the front desk gave us a warm welcome so we took a room. The room was on the 2nd floor, and the space was... More

I've stayed here 3 times--2007, 2011 and Memorial Day weekend 2015. It's an old 1960ish motel and it looks it. BUT the bed was very comfortable, the TV worked and the shower worked. The tub was flaking some of the enamel but that didn't affect the shower. It has plenty of character and I would stay here again. I think... More

This motel is a disgusting run down filth hole.we are not prissy people. I am not sure what the other reviewers seen when they were here.this place is very old, thats not the issue. The sheets towels and bed spread are rags and probably 30 years old. They are ripped and worn out. The shower curtain was moldy. The air... More

I came through there around 9 at night and she gave me a choice of two rooms, one had a soft bed and the other had a bed that was a lot more comfortable. The tv was a round screen whirt a remote that would work the volume and up and down channels. The heater did not work to well... More
