This house is no frills comfortable and welcoming. Pat has knowledge of things to go, places to go and makes a wonderful breakfast. The area is quiet and low key and perfect for relaxing. Already planning the next trip. I plan on visiting a few times a years!!

Stayed at the County Seat for 2 nights with another couple. Easy to find, the house is a large lovely home on lovely grounds. The owner, Pat, took our reservation on honor which is refreshing these days. The house is really convenient to everything, hikes, restaurants, gorge activities, etc. And the price is quite affordable. Pat welcomed us into her... More

My wife and I along with another couple stayed at the County Seat B & B in July 2014. We all had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was built in 1910 and is beautiful, inside and out. Old southern charm and ambience, highlighted by Pat Bennett, the owner. Sweet as could be, helpful and pleasant. One night after attending... More

My husband and I spent one night at the County Seat B and B in Fayetteville on a recent trip home to Ontario from North Carolina. Our stay, short as it was could not have been more enjoyable. Pat's hospitality and her gracious home welcomed us after a long drive. Our room, a double with private bath and extremely comfortable... More

We've stayed at The County Seat a couple of times, most recently in late July 2013 for a family reunion in the area. Pat and her son, David, are warm and gracious and the home is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is awesome! Our room was large and clean with a comfortable bed and small but clean and functional private bathroom.... More

Struggled to find a place to stay for the weekend, but stumbled across The County Seat on Trip Advisor, and it was a good thing! Super cute older home with the sweetest couple that runs it. The rooms are very clean and cozy, and it was perfect. Pat's oatmeal pancakes were awesome before starting our day of outdoors fun with... More

The County Seat is a lovely home with a lot of character. It is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Pat has a wealth of knowledge of the area and made us feel welcome from the moment we entered the B&B. The breakfast was great... fruit, baked apples, home made pancakes and blueberry topping and sausage. A lot... More

The county seat was built in 1911 and in its day was a quality home. As a B&B it's comfortable and low key. It needs work (Paint, wall paper, that sort of thing) but was very clean and well cared for. The owner (Pat) is gracious and very helpful about the area. We stayed in an upstairs front room with...
