Let me start by saying I have mixed feelings about this B&B. Let me cut to the chase ... I will come back to this area, and I will stay here. Why? I like the innkeeper (Bernie-he is personable, kind and engaging) and I like the location (one block to the Cathedral Café [eat lunch here, browse local art or... More

We stopped here on our way to NC to spend the night. Our host was warm and friendly and our breakfast was outstanding...and he even gave me the recipe! On top of that, he made mine gluten-free and it was delicious! The town is cute but we didn't get to stay as we were traveling and eager to get to... More

We stayed here in their loft suite with our family of five in May 2015, and were quite satisfied. As with most places though it's important to know what you're getting.... it's a bed & breakfast in a beautiful but very old house. Stairs are steep and narrow, doors don't quite close right, and both stairs and floorboards squeak loudly... More

The ambience of the Morris Harvey House is a wonderful trip to another era. The overall cleanliness and attention to detail will cause to forget the worries of the outside world. The innkeeper, Bernie, is a wonderful host and is such a plus for not only the property but the entire town. Within close distance is a splendid gumbo restaurant... More

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Morris Harvey House and Bernie was an excellent host and very accommodating. The house is beautiful and has an interesting background - be sure to ask about the history.

Thanks for the great review! You're right -- we're more than 100 years old, and we definitely encourage any of our guests to give us a chance to show off our knowledge, haha! Seriously, though, we truly do appreciate this terrific feedback -- it really does mean a lot. We hope you and your wife come stay with us again... More

We picked the Morris Harvey House from the internet. Upon arrival Bernie, the Innkeeper, greeted us warmly and made sure we were comfortable. Great breakfast daily. It is a good place to stay. Ask for the Rosa Suite.

We stayed 3 nights during the Clifftop festival and this was a great experience. Location wise ideally to all downtown restaurants (our favs are Gumbo's and The Cathedral Cafe), but Bernie is a perfect host, making you feel right at home immediately. He's a lovely man to talk with and he serves perfect breakfast, different every day and he even... More

We stayed three nights here while exploring the New River Gorge. Bernie was very helpful with trail advice and restaurant recommendations (don't miss Pies and Pints!) We also enjoyed breakfast, both the food and meeting other people at the communal table. Our room was attractive and comfortable, though with limited closet space. Fayetteville is a pretty little town and very... More

WOW, what a enjoyable stay. Bernie the host and owner was great. Next stay we have to get up a little earlier, we almost missed the best breakfast of this part of our vacation. Morris Harvey House and Bernie highly recommended. THE place to stay while in Fayetteville.

Our B and B experience with Bernie was superb. The location is ideally located to all downtown restaurants and attractions, the food was extremely tasty and Bernie was welcoming and informative. Fayetteville is a great town and the Morris Harvey B and B is the perfect place to begin your explorations.
