We spent a couple of nights in the Walnut cabin. Our party included 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Overall we had a very nice stay. Here's a summary:

Positive:
- Cabin is new - new appliances, dishes, comfortable furniture (although it's not luxury and was definitely bought on a budget)
- 3 bedrooms & 2 baths
- Hot tub was very nice
- Convenient location next to New River Gorge - excellent hiking

Negative:
- bedrooms are fine except for 1 which is tiny - it has a double bed and there's literally no room for anything else
- bathrooms are tiny
- water pressure in the showers can best be described as a weak trickle & some of the towels were stained
- It would have been nice to have more games & movies

It's impossible to find the cabins without detailed directions from the owner - don't count on Map Quest or a GPS; both will get you hopelessly lost; make sure to call the office during business hours and get detailed... more
