We stayed 2 nights at the Iron Road Inn. It was perfectly fine for our brief stay. This hotel is far back from the road so it was very quiet. And it was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Requiring a wheelchair accessible room, we were in 103. Toilet seemed small, we felt like we were on a child's seat. Was... More

The room was clean and comfortable and quiet....no road noise. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. The Inn is located next door to a good steak house. They serve a good breakfast in the morning. It is convenient to everything in Elkins.

My mom and I spent the night at the Iron Road Inn and were both very happy with our stay. It started with the friendly desk clerk; welcoming and inviting me in like a guest in her home. The entire hotel was non-smoking. Which is a big deal because my mom has COPD. The room was clean and comfy. Everything... More

Room was clean and I liked the motif and feel of the motel. Front desk service was friendly and efficient. Only complaint was the really minimal continental breakfast (basically coffee and donuts). For the $80 something price, I expected a little better. All in all though, I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed a night at this hotel. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The rooms were clean and we were able to park our motorcycles right outside our room. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast was adequate. Would stay again if in the area. We went to a nice restaurant - El Gran Sabor. Highly... More

We booked several weeks in advance and ascertained that this hotel does not have an elevator, but there was no problem over being given a first floor room if you have trouble with stairs. On arrival our initial impression was favorable - the lady on the desk was welcoming and efficient and the air-conditioned room was spacious, clean, had plenty... More

I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Elkins area. The staff was friendly and the hotel clean and inviting. It is decorated in a train motif and offers plenty of opportunity for all members of your party to interact outside of your rooms. Off of the main lobby there is a huge room furnished with games,...
