Have visited Pegasus three times over the last 6 years. We've always been pleased with the facilities and the owners of this small working farm. This spring we hosted a camp out for the WV Chapter of FMCA. Everyone was pleased with the facilities. There is a large activities building with a stove, fridge and several tables and chairs. It's... Wow, we just arrived, Mark the friendly owner met us at the local Gomart to lead us into his pristine remote CG. The final approach was pretty tight for our 45' Motorhome but things really opened up as we entered the beautiful Farm, Field. Our pull through site is huge, this place appears to be clean friendly and unique. We... More

That is the greeting you get when you stay at Pegasus. This campground is a little piece of camping heaven in the closest out of the way campground you'll ever find! It is interesting on many levels - but if you are staying in the area to explore the mountains and surrounding areas you can't find a more centrally located... More

My wife and I, having been on the road for 8 weeks found a paradise. Mark and Bonnie have created the ultimate place to relax and enjoy nature. We planned on staying 4 days to see the attractions but ended up staying 6 and enjoyed every minute of it. The bath house was the cleanest we've seen anywhere and Mark... More

We couldn't ask for more from Pegasus Farm: a friendly "Welcome Home" from Mark (even though it was our first visit), the quietest campground we have ever stayed at, large sites, beautiful surroundings -- the perfect base for exploring Elkins and the WV hills. We have never felt more at home that at Pegasus Farm.

This campground is a must ! The owners are extremely friendly and the bath house is clean. When I say clean I mean you won't find bathrooms this clean in most motels. We stayed in the bus Zen 1 and we totally enjoyed it. The bus was very clean as well. We enjoyed our stay and only wish we could... More

My wife and I had bought a used 25 ft travel trailer and for our 1st trip visited Pegasus Farm Campground, Elkins WV. Mark and Bonnie the owners are great friendly knowledgeable hosts. The sites are level, well maintained, and spacious with full hook ups. The farm is lovely with walking trails and clean well cared for facilities. We visited... More

This campground has a nice location in that it shows up after a long stretch of Hwy 219 where there’s no campgrounds… so it was a pleasant surprise for us. As we were turning down their lane Mark (the owner) happened to be leaving to go somewhere but he happily welcomed us and turned around to take us to the... More

Found this place by accident a few years ago. Planned on staying about a week the first time but endend up staying for two weeks. Everytime my wife and I go we have stayed longer than planned. We wanted a place close to everything that we wanted to do and just use the camper/campground as a "base camp", however we... More

My family and I stayed at Pegasus in May 2012 for three nights, having simply found out about them on the internet. The location, campsite, and vista are nothing short of stunning and you couldn't find better hosts than the gregarious owners, Bonnie and Mark. The bathrooms and showers are immaculate, and the common cooking area is both convenient to... More
