They were out of pillows, so I had to drive to a walmart and buy 2. The rooms are old and the beds are hard. The mattress actually had holes in it (not too sanitary). I asked to speak with the manager because I wanted the cost of the pillows deducted from my bill. The night time and daytime desk... More

We stayed here one weekend night during a trip to the Appalachian Mountains. We knew that it was an older place but only cared that it was clean. It was actually very clean in the room and office where breakfast was served, we didn't go to the pool. It had a refrigerator (very cold) and microwave as well in the... More

The staff was very friendly and the price was appropriate for the facility. The room was clean, but sure smelled like smoke for a non smoking room. Also in need of an update. The continental breakfast was poor, not very good coffee and cellophane wrapped pastries or bagels to toast. No coffee maker in the room either. There is an... More

This place has made large imporvements since a few years back. This is not a high end Motel. But the Staff [ Evelynn and others] make this place great. They go way out of there way to acomodate your needs while maintaining a safe clean place to stay. This place has been great for travelers. Centraly located and private. Thank... More

I work out of town and sleep in a lot of hotel...this one wasn't to shabby. The little lady behind the counter was very nice and very accommodating due to no rooms being available she made one open for a few hrs of sleep. I would go back and stay there again. Thanks for the good stay. The only issue... More

Been in dozens just like this, but usually they were more expensive. Staff friendly and helpful with suggestions about someplace for dinner. Clean, quiet, pet friendly, adequate. No frills. Breakfast less than average; went to the McDonalds down the street. Interestingly, they offer a further discount for veterans. That gives them high marks. And yes, they do offer smoking rooms,... I booked this place looking for a no frills motel to stay with my family of 3 while visiting friends in Elkins and touring the surrounding area. I am not a princess and I didn't expect too much. The room is clean and the beds are surprisingly comfortable (firm, which I like and decent pillows). It really ends there. The... More

The staff are truly good persons doing the best they can. HOwever. The property owners need to wake up a bit. I have been going thru this area for many years now and who ever does the budget needs a tune up.

The rooms were clean and very spacious. the room had 2 kings and a recliner in it. My friends and I grilled out in the parking lot no one complained... More
