I had booked my room for a week and after only one day I had to check out. The rooms are nasty and the staff are even worse. The ladies behind the desk did nothing but gossip about other staff. When complaint went to the manager she just blew it off. WARNING DO NOT EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL. She's... More

This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. Looking around one can tell that at one time this was a very nice Hotel. However, on entering the clerk just looked at me as if to say "what do you want." He acted irritated that I wanted to rent a room. All the surrounding Hotels were full so... More

The rooms weren't priced badly. They weren't very clean. They were very small. The bathrooms and floor bothered me the most. Just not very clean. The lighting in the room wasn't very good either. Very dim. The "free breakfast" was nasty. But the pizza place across the street was amazing!

Every hotel in Charleston was full because of the car show that week, except this one and upon arrival we could clearly see why! No hot water, couldn't use the exercise room, tub was disgusting, bed was broke, and the night manager had the personallity of a wall.

First let me say that we had stayed at this property every year for the past 6 when it was Travelodge. The property is older but the staff was great, rooms were clean and breakfast was pretty good. It is now the Dunbar Plaza, dropped the franchise and I can see a definite change. The first thing I noticed was... More

I was worried after reading these reviews, but overall, I had a great stay. I was here for a week with work. I have an issue with maid service anywhere I go, so I do not let the maids in my room while I am here. Beyond that, the front desk staff was extremely nice. I had to ask for... More

We had a two night stay. When we left our room after the first night, they took all of our stuff out of our room (even tho we had another night there). Luckily I was smart enough to take my purse with me that day. When we tried to get our stuff back, they only returned my husbands clothes. Conveniently... More

My family ended up here after the hotel we originally stopped at was full up for the night. The hotel called ahead and got two rooms and the adjusted rates for our AAA discount. When we arrived, the front desk was already prepared, and check in was very quick and painless. Our rooms were basic rooms with two queen sized... More
