When we arrived at the park we were just going to pass through but the fall color was amazing so cancelled our reservation down the road and booked a room. The other two reviews are right on the mark. Simple, very clean and elegant rooms. The water quality in the shower was excellent. Real wood furnishings and decor. We were very happy with our stay at the lodge. We had a gorge view room which was very simple but clean. Everything worked and our view was excellent. We ate breakfast at the Lodge and that very pretty good as well. We would stay there again and we'd recommend it to others. It wasn't luxury accomodations, just simple 'down... more

I have read reviews about the dining room but not about this Lodge itself. We stayed here for three nights. Our room was "gorge view" with a king bed. The room was small, simple yet very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but very clean. We had windows on two sides; could not see down into the Blackwater... more
