Stayed here with a couple friends to play a round of golf. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pool. There's an arcade. But it's small. Couple racing games air hockey table and a pool table. There is a buffet on main floor for dining also a nice bar/lounge. Which was great for some alcoholic beverages and food.... More

We had a junior suite king with a "mountain view." The rooms were very nice, roomy, with very comfortable bedding and bed. We had a small refrigerator and microwave which was nice for breakfast and snacks. There is plenty of room here for a lengthy stay - a nice sized closet and dresser. The biggest disappointment was no balcony and... More

Stay in the rv resort at Canaan valley in an airstream 2 days ago. Booked a month out and was given a pull thru on a hill. It was so steep that the my wife and I had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed. It rained and try to get out of the trailer I... More

Great jem of a resort in the Canaan Valley. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. Nice updated rooms. Great pools (one inside, one outside-heated), golf, free bike rentals, free mini golf, tennis courts with free balls and rackets, tube ride, ski lift ride, climbing wall & eurobungy, all kinds of walking, running, and biking trails, 3 restaurants.... We booked a room for one night - room with 2 queen beds. I think it was one of the smallest rooms with a parking lot view, but we only spent a night there. We hiked at Seneca Rocks just before we checked in, and it was after 8 pm already. Check in was fast. We decided to go to... More

The elevation was about 3,500 ft. above sea level at the hotel. The room was spacious and we had a very small balcony with a view of the pool and the pavilion, accessed by a sliding glass door. One could also see the surrounding mountains. Towards dusk you could watch many deer come and feed within feet of the building.... More

We spent Memorial Day weekend here, as everything was opening for the spring/summer, and the views and weather were beautiful. The resort offers a chairlift ride bout 10 minutes from the lodge ($7/adult, $5 kids) that provides a breathtaking view of the valley. The staff was very friendly to us, as well as the multi-cultural attendees who were there for... More

West Virginia's nationally acclaimed state parks just keep getting better. The new lodge rooms here are amazingly SPACIOUS, tastefully appointed and loaded with amenities. We booked a king suite with an extra room with 2 queen bed attached. Each of the 2 huge BRs had a nice frig, coffee maker, microwave, very comfortable beds/pillows, flat screen tv, balcony with big... More

This hotel is amazing! Very new; and very complete. It offers everything for a delightful family vacation and even business conferences. The rooms are quite large and well furnished and decorated. The large painting in our room was evocative of the surrounding forest. It has a first class dining room with a long glass wall looking our over the valley.... More

Recently an impromtu stay at this resort. We live about two hours from the area and was just going to drive there Mother's Day. Instead started looking for a room and decided on this resort because of the major renovations. The last visit was 15 yrs ago with the old set-up and rooms. We've rented vacation homes before. This was... More
