My adult family stayed in four rooms, 3 with en suite bathrooms, during a three night stay. We enjoyed the delicious variety in the breakfasts, always with a gluten free component, one late night sandwich dinner when we arrived, and the constantly available snacks. We turned on the coffee pot and served ourselves a previously prepared breakfast when leaving at... More

Beautiful B & B with amazing hospitality. The owner provides afternoon tea and snacks. She did a wonderful job making us feel welcome by accommodating my no sugar or gluten needs while making our breakfast delicious. Great healthy, organic food. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Loved chilling on the porch , just a block away from the capital... More

All the standard B&B expectations are found here; very clean, private bathrooms, peace and quiet, but the owner, Lisa, goes above and beyond. All of her food is super healty, yet still delicious. She makes her breakfast according to YOUR time availability, there is an afternoon tea, and homemade goodies that she makes available around the clock. Every possible food... More

My daughter and I stayed here for one night before her day at the Capitol. It was the perfect location for us only a half block from the State Capitol. I got up before the other guests and had breakfast in the kitchen with the owner. This was a nice touch.

We stayed for a three-day weekend and found the property to be very comfortable and nicely decorated. The afternoon tea and homemade cakes were divine and one of my favorite things. Our breakfast menus were varied and always hot and delicious. The location is great. We walked over about a block and toured the Capitol building which we thoroughly enjoyed.... More

The wedding reception was great and very stress free for the bride and groom. The food was delicious and our bedroom was great. Almost all of Brass Pineapple's rooms have private bathrooms and are well appointed. We stayed in the very formal, yet comfortable, english gentleman room with mahogany panels. I would say that perhaps there is a little too... More

Room was great. Comfortable bed, nice sitting area and TV. The house was nicely decorated with antiques and paintings. Afternoon tea and breakfast was excellent. Very gracious hostess. Close to Capital and restaurants.

The house is beautiful, the food is outstanding, the owner was so nice. Felt right at home. I didn't want to leave. I would definitely recommend this B&B to all my friends and family. Thanks Lisa for a great time! Wendy

Based on the website, this seemed like the perfect stop-over between Washington DC and Louisville for a relaxing, romantic stay with my fiance. The rates seemed on the high-end for West Virginia, but the added luxory and hospitality of this B&B seemed well worth it. Overall, the trip advisor comments seemed to support that this was the place for us,... More

Have stayed in B&B's throughout U.S. & Canada. This was the worst experience by far. 3rd floor room had water damage throughout. Smelled musty and 2nd room was too hot to sleep in. Owner Lisa was inaccessible and rude. Asked "what do you want me to do about it" when we were unable to get the water warm to take... More
