The hotel itself is nice, the rooms were clean and they offer a free breakfast, but the biggest problem was it is a pet friendly hotel. Usually Residence Inn's are pet friendly, but always have rooms that animals are NOT allowed to stay in, but for some reason, this Residence Inn allows pets in ALL rooms. Not a good situation... Our stay at this Residence Inn was wonderful! Kind, friendly and helpful staff members greeted us, as well as some beautiful deer on the roadside during the evening drive up to the hotel! Our suite was very clean, comfortable, quiet and welcoming! If you visit Charleston, make sure to tour their beautiful Capitol building and their amazing museum right nearby.... More

We greeted by a young lady that treat us like royalty. She was very well trained and will go far. She provided a map of the area and gave ideas as to where to eat, fuel, etc. We had a one bedroom suite which is nice, but unnecessary as the regular room is very accommodating. Residence Inns always provide great... More

This was a stop over on a week-long family road trip. I decided to stay at this hotel as we had just stayed at another Marriott property in North Carolina. When I called to make the reservation the women who took my information was very short and rude. She explained at least 3 times that I could not cancel the... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your most recent stay with us. I am very sorry that you recieved less than cordial and gracious service while making your reservation. I will be sharing your comments with the entire front desk team and I will make sure to share them with the reservation center. I am glad that you found everything... More

I've stayed at this hotel many times when I travel from WI to WV to visit friends and family. I'm unsure about a few negative reviews considering I've never had problems with bugs, room smell, etc. This hotel is perfect for my family of 5. We always book a two room suite. It's nice to have a kitchen and refrigerator to prepare... More

After 7 hours of travel, my family needed a nice, clean place to rest our heads. This place was perfect for my family of 4 (6 year old and the 4 year old birthday girl). Plenty of space in the king bed room. My kids are small enough to just curl up on each end of the sofa. The free... More

Absolutely loved the country setting of this hotel nestled on top the hill in a more residential looking area and easy to find. There are no stores within walking distance so take what you'll need for your stay. We were there to watch a football game at the University of Charleston Stadium, which was a convenient 5 minute drive down... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and feel like I come home each time. Many of the familiar faces are still here and I always know my room will be awesome, hotel quiet and scenery great. Beit deer in field across from hotel or coming up the drive. Its close to many places and I... More

I was knocked out by the warm friendly service we received throughout the hotel, from front desk to breakfast buffet to housekeeping staff. I called the manager afterwards to commend one staff person for going beyond what I had expected in recovering a garment my wife left behind. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was great value for the... More

This was my first time to stay at a Residence Inn but it won't be my last! The kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes & cooking needs. The living room was spacious & comfortable. The view out the large window was breath-taking when the snow started falling. The bed in the bedroom was very relaxing and I enjoyed the extra... More
