I chose the Residence Inn due to the Embassy Suites in downtown Charleston was booked. Even though I had never stayed at any hotel that wasn’t downtown, I decided to give this one a try since I was flying out of Yeager Airport to begin with. Although the Residence Inn was nice, it did not meet my expectations. I did... more

Though not a resort or high-end hotel, it's very comfortable, well-kept, and clean. The free breakfast was very good. We'd highly recommend it for a Charleston stayover. One bit of advice... If you're looking for places to dine out around Charleston, stay away from the Charleston Town Center Mall food court. The food at every vendor looked absolutely disgusting. more

An excellent hotel, with nice rooms and superb breakfast. Nice location and friendly staff. Only problem is thin walls, some broken items (such as curtains) and noisy guests. Also hot tub not working, and front desk understaffed. Also: no king-size beds available at all. more

We stayed here recently while visiting my sister who lives in Charleston. In addition, we have stayed at this hotel EVERY Thanksgiving for at least the past five years--perhaps longer. This is among the nicest hotels I've stayed in anywhere in the world. They keep the place spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly. The breakfast (included)... more

We stayed here while returning by car from the Outer Banks. The hotel seemed fairly new and was reasonably well kept. We were originally given a room overlooking the pool, which was busy with a number of guests so it was noisy. When we realized this, we went back and asked to be moved to a room on the other... more

The Residence Inn Charleston is a great place to stay for a weekend, or an extended stay. I stayed here for one week of a several month extended stay for my husband. The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help with any request. A couple of notes: 1) The hotel website does not list that there is a... more

The Residence Inn Charleston is a great place to stay. It is a bit spendy but you get what you pay for and this was an extremely comfortable room. I forgot to take pictures so I'll walk you through verbally. As you enter the room, a desk is directly in front of you with chair and internet access. To the... more

We had a great time here - excellent facilities, friendly staff. The suites, with the additional space and kitchen, were perfect for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and gas grill available for cooking your own barbecue. The included breakfast was very good, though they seemed to struggle with keeping the offerings stocked one particularly busy morning. The... more

This hotel exemplifies service excellence. In the 100+ hotel stays I have had in 3 years this staff wins the reward for best customer care and a management team that sets the standard. Trust me, their personal care is on par with any hotel. Let me tell what they did for me and my travel partner. Basically, my business partner... more

Another priceline deal for me. The hotel was very nice. The bed was extremely comfy. The kitchen seemed a little dated, but it was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. more
