Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting local restaurants. Located just a few minutes from restaurants, shopping and attractions. Breakfast buffet was very good, with wide selection of hot and cold foods. Room was well decorated, clean and spacious. Will stay there on our next visit.

This is one of the nicer Marriotts we have stayed In. Hotel was quiet, room was clean and roomy. In a business estate, and a little hard to see and find, but good hotel. The staff were great and the breakfast was good. Will be staying again on our return trip home.

We were in Charleston for one night and needed a place that was close to the University of Charleston. The Residence Inn was an ideal location for us and, as is usually delivered by Residence Inns, the rooms were spotless, the bed comfortable, the food in the restaurant had good choices and the staff very courteous.

The downside of the hotel is that it takes a little time to find the actual motel. It's off the highway a couple of miles and you wind around up a ride to find it on top of the hill. There are also no restaurants close to it. But, great service, we got a huge clean suite for a cheap... More

Great hotel if your traveling through the area with you pup. VERY DOG FRIENDLY hotel, from the checkin, first floor hotel rooms, easy access to their very clean dog walking area. $100 deposit for stay, but that's typical of most hotels. Worth the try and a supper buy if you use your points.

I can't say enough about Marriott chain hotels. They are terrific and this did not disappoint. We stayed in the suite and it fit perfectly for our needs (2 kids and a dog). My SOLE complaint was the parking was not sufficient for a SUV with a trailer. Other than that, the stay was great. The breakfast is nothing to... More

Stayed here on business several times. Every time has been a good experience. The front desk staff is friendly, which is appreciated after a long trip. Overall the rooms are comfortable with plenty of space to relax. Good variety at breakfast. Usually there are eggs and sausage. The hotel itself is located a little ways from the downtown area, so... Easy to find and easy to get to and from restaurants. My husband and I were traveling home from North Carolina to Michigan and decided the day before to stop 1/2 way and make it a 2 day trip because our 4 year old twins got very restless around the 10 hour mark on the way down (16 hour total... I have stay in the Studios as well as the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom rooms, each are equally nice and comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I stayed here recently when I was driving south back to my military assignment after being away for a few weeks of temporary duty at Fort Knox. I chose the Residence Inn because they were the only pet friendly hotel near the halfway point of my route home and I had just picked up a stray on the side of... More
