My wife, 8 month old triplets and I stayed at this hotel for a long 4th of July weekend while visiting family in the area. As I mentioned, we brought our 8 month old triplets and made sure the staff was aware that we would be driving from NJ and arriving sometime well after midnight, and to PLEASE have the... more

This is a well maintained hotel with comfortable beds. However, for people used to Marriotts, things don't work as well as expected. After making the reservation online, we called to ask if the concierge lounge would be open for breakfast during the weekend of July 4th. We were told that the concierge lounge was closed so no breakfast would be... more

I really loved this hotel. It was easy to get to from the freeway. The hotel was very modern and clean. Unlike the previous review, I thought the staff was very nice. The only thing that I really didn't like is the $8 for parking. No big deal thought. I would definately stay there again. more

I stayed at the Marriott for a business trip. The hotel is nice, but the staff seemed to take themselves a little too seriously. I also thought it was odd that they charged me $12 to use the internet in my room. Overall a nice hotel, but staff kinda grouchy. more

During a long drive in a mini van with three kids; grandma, myself and husband we stayed at the Charleston, WV Marriott as a half way point in our drive. We all enjoyed our visit and were re-charged ready for the rest of our drive. First, it is easy to get to and from the expressway. The hotel staff is... more

Nice hotel located right off the interstate in the heart of downtown. Staff was nice. Room was nice, big, and with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet is good and reasonably priced. Vending machines by the ice machines on each floor. The elevators were incredibly slow and only 3 for a 350 room hotel was the only frustrating part of... more

First, the good - This hotel is very conveniently located, particularly if you have an event at the Civic Center or other downtown location or are interested in Mall shopping. There is a walkway to the Mall. Parking does cost $6 per day and there is no way around that. The rooms are adequate and clean, but not spacious or... more

Clean, large, comfortable rooms; excellent downtown location near convention center and mall, with lots of dining options nearby; modern facility. This is about as nice a place as you'll find in Charleston. more

The staff was welcoming and incredibly helpful, especially the waitress and omelet chef at breakfast. The room was perfect for my husband and me and our three young kids with a king and a double Murphy bed. Bedding was very nice. Pool was fine for the kids to play around in before we hit the road again. We'll definitely stay... more

I stayed for one night 9-22-07 and enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and the location of the hotel was good. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Checked in and out with ease. I'll definitely stay at the Marriott Charleston Town Center again if my travels bring me back to Charleston. more
