We were in town for a Lion's retreat and really enjoyed this hotel. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Comfortable and clean rooms and beds. The event staff were also very helpful in getting us set up. Mall was just a walk across the street. Breakfast buffet was expensive ($20 w/tip), but very good.

Had a good stay at this hotel. On site restaurant, parking and wifi. Friendly staff. Great location in the middle of everything. Only problem was they messed up my shuttle time and I was significantly late to a meeting. Slow elevators! Would stay again.

About the best bargain in the whole marriott family in the entire state. Its a mystery why the Fairfields and townplaces farther up the I-79 corridor to morgantown are more expensive than the flagship in the capital, but they are. Easy on-off the expressway and ideally sited across from the shopping mall so you can stretch your legs regardless of... More

The location of the Charleston Marriott Town Center is hard to beat. Only steps from the Town center Mall with many stores and great restaurants. Only a block from the Charleston Civic Center so an easy walk to a concert or sporting event.

This hotel is beautifully laid out, and the on-site restaurant is a necessary repeat offender. (Even if not a hotel guest, the restaurant is worth making the visit.) The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the gym is open late to allow for privacy is desired. The view from the gym is spectacular, so even if not working out,... More

Almost every year several family members meet in Charleston as a central meeting point. We are always pleased with our visits to Charleston and this Marriott. Our visit in 2015 was great too. Tim in the Brick Salt Restaurant gave us great service. Jeremy the bellman was very helpful and drove us in the newer Marriott van each night to... More

We have stayed here a couple times over the holidays. Perfect location to get up early and walk across the street for some Black Friday shopping. Our kids love the pool and I love the comfortable beds and clean room. The staff is always friendly. This is our go to hotel when traveling to Charleston.... there are newer hotels in... More

Older but updated Marriott in the downtown and landlocked area of Charleston. The rooms are nice and the bed was really comfortable but found the concierge room cheap and the parking fee unreasonable. Having those issues, it is the best Charleston has to offer so I will be back.
