Absolutely beautiful place and Janese and Nadia were wonderful hosts! My wife and I were in the area for our grandsons baseball tournament and we were so happy we found this little slice of “almost heaven.” The solitude, peace and quiet was extraordinary! Hiking on the nearby trails is a must as well as exploring Smoke Hole canyon, the caverns and Seneca Rocks. Breakfast everyday was fantastic and the salmon dinner with wine on Sunday night was exceptional! We stayed in one of the towne homes which had everything we needed, was very clean and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our quiet time sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered porch outside our room. Thank you Janese and Nadia for your hospitality and we will definitely be back to North Fork Mountain Inn! We wish…

A great place to stay! The room was very clean and the room plus the entire Inn was decorated perfectly. Janese was very accommodating and pleasant and Nadia fixed some wonderful, gourmet grade meals. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

We are on a visit from the UK and wanted to bring our son and his wife away to West Virginia . I was delighted when we arrived and found exactly what I had hoped for in North Fork Mountain inn we took the Smoke hole Suite for ourselves and Seneca rock suite for our son and his wife . Both suites had jacuzzi baths as well as well equipped bath rooms . The views from the rooms down to Smoke hole canyon were stunning and the situation of the inn magnificent . Janese and Nadia were delightful and Nadia prepares really delicious food for breakfast and dinner . We left with Rocky the bear who was on our bed when we arrived if we return to WV it will definitely be to Mountain View .

A beautiful and quiet setting overlooking Smoke Hole Valley and the Potomac Highlands. We took an invigorating hike up Seneca Rocks trail to a panoramic overlook. A drive to Blackwater Falls State Park is a must see. Janese and Nadia are perfect hosts. So friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. We felt very much at home on this little getaway. We hope to be back again! - Cathy & Peter

Cathy, thanks for your kind words and positive review. It was a pleasure hosting you and Peter. I hope you both swing by next time you are in Baltimore or NC. Next time Peter will have to bring his acoustic guitar and strum around the campfire. Take Care and Be Well!

My fiancee and I just stayed at this gem of an inn. Janese and Nadia were amazing hosts! The inn is 7 miles straight up a mountain with spectacular views. Very winding road so do it during the day. We stayed in the North Fork Mountain room which was my favorite. I would choose this one again. Janese gave me a tour of all the rooms and they are all gorgeous, but this one was my favorite. It's a peaceful and beautiful place! Go!!!

Nadia and Janese were the perfect hostesses! I wish I could live at the Inn full time and enjoy the cooking, the hiking, the views, and the amazing company 24/7. We definitely are coming back! We (my significant other Tim and I) had the honor to be the very first official guests booking at the North Fork Mountain Inn since Nadia and Janese became the new owners. It was the perfect getaway. Tim and I went there to celebrate our 13th anniversary from February 3rd-February 5th. I want to cover the room we stayed in, the inn in general, other rooms, the food, and things to do in the area. - The North Fork Mountain Room - This room was on the first floor (though note: "first floor" is still up a flight of steps from where one parks). We really liked the room we chose. We aren't…

Viviana, it was a pleasure having you and Tim! Thank you so much for your thorough review and kind words! I also appreciate you addressing the Timber Townhouse bathroom layout. We have decided we are going to construct a wall separating the bedroom from the jacuzzi and bathroom for Timber Townhouse 1. Timber Townhouse 2 is our ADA accommodation (and held as a last bookable option) and the wall would restrict the required clearance. Once the wall is constructed in Timber Townhouse 1 we will provide updated photos to help illustrate the room layout to reduce confusion for future guests. I am happy that we got to discuss this situation in person and propose a solution that will increase privacy and guest satisfaction. We look forward to your return and to stargaze with you and Tim in the Summer Sky!

We stayed for two nights, including New Year's Eve 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The inn is off the beaten path, which makes it a wonderful place to unplug. The new owners Janese and Nadia are wonderful hosts. They each bent over backwards to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We really enjoyed visiting with them and the other guests. We also enjoyed our room, the inn itself, and the food (both lunch and dinner). I look forward to coming back in the future.

This is our first stay in West Virginia and all I keep doing is singing 'Country Roads' by John Denver....I surprised my husband with a weekend here to celebrate our 35th anniversary. He loved it and so did I. Just the whole experience of staying in what I call a modern, log cabin inn was really nice. The rooms are beautiful with all the wood floors and ceilings. Ours was clean and warm. The main floor where you walk in, is cozy, snuggly, inviting. The dining areas were our preference, either around a big table with others or 2-top tables for privacy. Davis was our server and he was such a pleasant fellow to talk to. Carol's breakfast were outstanding! I loved her 'cranberry crunch'. And the host Ed, was 100% accommodating. He'd pull up a chair and answer our questions about…

Thanks for your kind words and wonderful review. It is so encouraging to hear that we are delivering great guests experiences. We are grateful that you chose us to celebrate your 35th anniversary. These special celebrations are important to us and we always strive to exceed your expectations. We are glad to get your feedback about no TV's in the rooms in the Inn. We agree when you come to our beautiful mountain paradise, part of the charm and beauty involves unplugging and relaxing and enjoying the majesty and beauty of our "almost heaven, West Virginia". I, too, often catch myself humming Country Roads. This is such a universal song that describes the beauty of our area. Thanks again for your wonderful comments. We look forward to seeing you again sometime.

We stayed two nights in the Smoke Hole room. The inn lived up to our expectations based on the previous reviews. In addition to breakfast, we had dinner both nights at the inn. The meals were truly gourmet, with fresh ingredients, mainly from Carol & Ed's garden. Ed's chicken & pesto soup was the best soup we have ever had. Since I'm on a low salt diet, I was particularly impressed with Ed's use of fresh herbs to replace salt in his recipes. Our room was quite nice & comfortable. We didn't mind not having a television. We liked the jacuzzi. The shower was a bit small, but functional. I liked the white noise machine - the ocean sound helped me sleep. Ed was very helpful in suggesting places to see & offering directions to get there. The complimentary bottles of water & soda + ice…
