We stayed in the little cabin for several days in June. I am still on "beauty overload". Every where you went, it was a Kodak moment. We needed some time to relax and this is the perfect place to do just that. We are in ministry and it was wonderful that we were offered a "minister's discount". The cabin was... more

We just returned from four relaxing and pampering days at the North Fork Mountain Inn. My husband and I went there for our ten year anniversary. There was quite a bit of sightseeing available in the area and we treated the inn as our home base. We stayed in the Seneca Rocks room which had a queen bed, fireplace, and... more

The Inn is cozy yet spacious. Very pleasant hosts that sense your needs very quickly. Plenty of amenities included as part of your stay - from well marked trails to jacuzzi to very comfortable bed and spectacular views. The deer roam the front yard while you rock away on the front porch. Will gladly stay again. more

The North Fork Mountain Inn was a perfect get away for our family to enjoy nature and the natural beauty of the area. We stayed in the cabin, which was perfect for our family. The food was most excellent and the inn keepers are very warm and helpful. The boys loved how the deer would come up to the lodge... more

Innkeepers and owners, Ed and Carol, stated that their goal was to spoil us. Their gift of hospitality was evident by several unexpected extras: sparkling apple cider in the rooms, chocolates on the pillows, a cookie jar with homemade cookies, complementary tea and cocoa upstairs and boxed wine in the frig downstairs. We stayed in the Hideaway Cabin where our... more

We needed a relaxing getaway after my husband's mother recently passed away. We chose Northfork Mountain Inn which is a beautiful log home in the mountains of West Virginia. Our room was immaculate, the breakfasts were hot and delicious, the view was spectacular, the crackling fire at night was warm and cozy, and the Innkeepers were like old friends. We... more

We stayed at the North Fork Mountain Inn over New Years. This was the first time that I set out to find a destination based solely on what I could find on Trip Advisor and I was not disappointed. I just searched Cabins West Virginia and came across all great reviews for the inn and we decided to give it... more

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Gracious and generous hosts, Ed and Carol are fantastic chefs and it was a wonderful surprise to have a wine tasting run by Ed, a master sommelier. We had some medical/dietary constraints and they were consistently helpful and friendly. The room (Seneca Rock) felt comfortable, cozy, and the view inspired. Near a fantastic (and underrated)... more

My husband and I were looking for an inn that had hiking nearby and that was not "froofy". We got way more than we bargained for. The inn was tastefully decorated like a log cabin. Ed and Carol made us feel at home from the minute we stepped in the door. Ed's cooking was superb. The hiking, right out of... more

We used to dream of owning a second home in the mountains. No more. North Fork Inn has everything we imagined and then some. Ed and Carol made us feel as though we had come “home to a place we’d never been before.“ If you love nature, enjoy GREAT food, and are praying for a quiet place to rest and... more
