I stayed here for a birthday getaway. Needed a good night's sleep before going to the Lunatic Asylum nearby. Many Mexicans staying a few doors down were loud all night long. I called the front desk at 7:30 PM to find out if they had quiet hours. She said no, but "they usually quiet down around bedtime". Well, apparently their... More

There are rooms in back of the regular courtyard, with a view of trees and a flat grassy field. I asked for a room back there so it would be easy to walk my little dog. Pets stay free. When we arrived there were 5 deer grazing at the tree line. In the evening the working guys enjoyed their soccer... More

Spent one night at the Centennial Motel on our way home from Virginia. The price was very reasonable ($65). I asked if I could see the room first, no problem. The room was very large, and could use a little updating, but it was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The bed was comfortable; there is a refrigerator and... More

My husband and I stopped to see if they had a room. Everything was booked. The girl working the front desk called the Baxa for us. They had one room left. After we checked in she called again to see if we made it. I thought that was very sweet of her to do.

When we phoned for reservations we let thm know that my wife and I and our two sons would be arriving quite late (around midnight or so) and were told that it wouldn't be a problem. They were right ... when we rolled in just before midnight and after driving for 7 hours, we were greeted with a friendly smile... More

I was in town for business and every room in a forty mile radius was sold out. I had gone to college locally and had always seen the place, but had never been in the place. I am normally skeptical of little motels like this, but it had good reviews and I needed a place to stay. The room, with... More

We decided to stay here based on the previous 2 reviews and were glad we did. The location is excellent - just a short drive to Main St. The room was HUGE and spotless. The bathroom was adorable and right out of the 50s with blue tiles, a blue tub, and a blue sink - but again, everything was very... More
