We wanted a relatively inexpensive place to stay in mid-West Virginia for one night to break up our trip and had heard that Buckhannon was a cute town, so we found the Bicentennial Inn on the web and decided to give it a try. Hotel had supposedly been recently renovated, and to me it seemed OK, although watch out for the late night/early morning freight trains travelling through about 30 yards behind the hotel! I did go back to sleep after they passed (twice during the night), but it was a bit unnerving; it didn't really bother my wife. Relatively clean rooms & bathrooms, but my wife didn't feel that it was clean as it should be and the hallway smalled "old".
Hotel has a restaurant/lounge, but we didn't eat dinner or breakfast there, found a place for dinner on main street (Maggie's something or other, good place) and then had breakfast just a few doors down at a diner near the train tracks that had good food.
