It looked clean at first inspection. But later that evening we found the problems. The toilet seat was broken and moved all over when you sat on it. The sink did not have a plug and never gave us hot water. The climate control would not adjust. The pillows were paper thin. It sounded and smelled like the room next... more

I stayed in the old Knights Inn in 2007 and it was awful. I read that it had been remodeled so decided to give it another try in May 2009. The property has been much improved. The rooms have been updated. I would say the quality of work isn't 100% but the hotel is now on par with RedRoof &... more

This is what I saw when I walked in...bugs on the carpet, bugs flying in the air, floor dirty, drapes torn and off the slider, stains, stains everywhere, no sofa thank goodness, chairs fit for a childs backside (2 to be exact), tile floor with dead bugs. Pillows flat with very thin pillow cases and visually seeing the stains. I walked... more

Used to stay at this property years ago. First of all this property is no longer a Knights Inn - it is now a Travelodge. But if you book, look for the Knights Inn signage as the only sign that has changed is above the door. Although the outside of all of the rooms still look like a 1980s Knights... more

My daughter and I were on the Great American Road Trip from Corvallis Oregon to Calais Maine. We had been dreaming of this trip for a long time and as she had just graduated from college we decided to do it. We stayed in many wonderful hotels all the way across this great country but this one took the prize... more

We ended up in Clarksburg/Bridgeport looking for a hotel room, and with a football game in town, most rooms were booked. The Knights Inn was a last resort, and though cheap, it wasn't worth it. The property is run down (though apparently they've started refurbishing the rooms) and a real dive. The room we stayed in was dirty, falling apart,... more

This motel is really a dump! I had stayed in a Knight's Inn once before and it was fine, so thought this would be all right. I actually chose it because the ad said that it was pet friendly and, unlike many other motels, did not list an added fee for pets. When I checked in, they charged me for... more

I travel constantly with my job and stay at hotels and motels across a 7 state area. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star rated and also at the lower end. This particular hotel has a long way to go up to achieve the lowest rating. I made my reservation directly to the property over the phone. That took... more

Avoid this motel, you will have a better stay at a KOA in a pup tent! We arrived here at about 4:00PM and had to change and go to the viewing of my mother prior to her burial the next morning. The floor was dirty, the room was for me and my wife and there were not enough bathtowels. When... more

For a budget room this room was great. The room was large and clean. We travel with pets and this place was great all on ground floor and private entrances. Nice place and very inexpensive. more
