We broke our Thanksgiving drive to Myrtle Beach in Bluefield and loved staying at the Dian-Lee House. It is pretty close to being a halfway point betwee Pittsburgh and MB which is why we chose. We had once before looked round Bluefield and found nothing to our liking and headed further north to Beckley. This time, scouring round Google Earth... more

The Dian-Lee House B&B is a hidden jewel in Bluefield, West Virginia! It was such a pleasant surprise and highlight of our trip driving to South Carolina. Nestled in this scenic, historic, quaint town is the Dian-Lee House built in 1904. An added bonus to this wonderful old house is the Innkeeper! Daniel is so knowledgeable about the house and... more

I recently stayed at the Dian-Lee house in Bluefield, WV. This was my first time at a bed & breakfast and I was only staying here because it was close to the trade show I was attending. I have to be completely honest; my stay was an A+++ rating. I don’t have anything negative to say about this place. If... more

My husband and I stayed one night at this B&B and found the host to be very polite, hospitable and helpful. We needed help in booking another B&B in a different location for our next night's stay and he gave us lots of help - from loaning us B&B resources to looking up a website. The room was inviting and... more

After watching our son play in the Rugby National Championship tournament in Pittsburgh, my wife and I had to wash the chain motel "experience" out of our mouths. We decided to make one long day into two shorter ones, and treat ourselves to what we really like. And indeed, the Diane-Lee was just what the doctor ordered. The building is... more

The Dian-Lee House is beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean, and a true value for the price! Daniel, the host/manager, is a genuinely kind and efficient person who made us feel right at home. Daniel is a very personable young gentleman who did all within his power to see that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dian-Lee House. We were given... more

Sandra Hancock did two things perfectly when she put this B&B together. First she had it renovated perfectly and decorated it very tastefully. Then she had Daniel Clark be the Manager. This combination is a real winner. Daniel, who grew up next door, was very interesting to talk with. He has a lot of knowledge of the area, and gave... more

The house is beautiful and our room was nicely furnished and clean. We were taken aback by the rules which included "excessive" fees for any damages. When we checked in the manager was very nice and accomodating. We did think the charges were excessive - we paid over $300 for the attic suite, but we thought that the gourmet breakfast... more

It is very disappointing to read of such defamation. When the guest reserved online it only indicated 2 persons staying equaling $125. I called to inquire the possible number of guests and I was informed by another person that there were 7. The rate for the Loft suite is $50 per person equaling $350, I was informed that 2 of...

Dian Lee House is half way from our home to the hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. We stopped over on our way to and stayed again on our way back. What a delightful Inn! It was so clean a surgeon could have done surgery on the bathroom floor. Coffee was excellent as was the breakfast fare. Especially did I enjoy the... more

What a delightful traveler! I thoroughly enjoyed having conversations with this guest and was able to spend time and share experiences. It is our privilage to provide impeccably clean rooms for our guests and makes the job more worth while when guests complement it. The gardens do work their magic in the spring time as the guest implemented. The Chinese...
