I had been researching a couple of places to stay for our first night on the road while on our way to Florida from Toronto last month. When it seemed obvious that we would be able to arrive at a reasonable hour, we called ahead and spoke to Kitt who reserved a room for us. Long story short, we ran... More

I always house my friends and guests at this beautifully maintained B & B which has recently made the top 300 in the national B & B registry. The rooms are beautifully furbished, the ambience is inviting, the food is delicious, and the owners are very welcoming. If you wish to be pampered--no matter who you are--then Bluefield Inn is... Very nice B and B with very congenial owner. Missing some basic amenities but they are new owners and eager to Improve. Not much to do n this old coal town that is in a state of decline. We stayed s a stop over point between HILTON Head and He Greenbrier.

While in Bluefield last week for business, I stayed at this beautiful inn based on the wonderful reviews. It exceeded my expectations. My room could not have been more comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. Everything was extremely clean with many thoughtful touches. Breakfast was perfect. Kitt makes you feel at home right from the start. When I... More

The Inn was amazing! The environment was beautiful and we enjoyed the antiques and the 1800's decor. Kit and Gary were gracious and accommodating hosts. The breakfast was very delicious. Definitely a favorite B and B!

Kit and Gary are great. Beautiful home and rooms. Felt like being at home. Highly recommend! Kit even made me dinner because there was no where else to go. Felt like I was part of the family. From now on, I am.

Southern hospitality meets universal comfort. As a Northerner, some kinds of hospitality are a bit much for me, but the Bluefield Inn hit exactly the right note: gracious orientation so I can easily access the facilities I want (or not), easy accommodation for late arrival, friendly style that welcomes but does not impose, excellent food and service.

Everything is so clean and neat, and the owner is great. We had a different top of the line breakfast every morning. There is adult beverages along with hot coffee, tea, juice available. The building more that one hundred years old, but is truly beautiful inside and out. They even have a cigar humidor if you want to sit on... More

My wife, son, daughter and me enjoyed the place. We live in Mozambique and come every year to the US to visit friends, and after this excellent experience we will definitely come back. Service was marvelous, personalized service by owner. Room impeccably neat and clean and decoration with very fine touch. Food amazing. 100% recommended.

My sister and nieces spent the weekend at this delightful historic home for our annual girl's weekend getaway. What a gem! The themed rooms are a delight, the rest of the house is an eclectic array of contemporary and period furnishings. The hostess is the most personable host I have ever encountered in a B&B. Both breakfasts were high quality... More
