Want to save a few dollars, not a bad place to stay. Priced much lower than other hotels, so we saved a few dollars by staying here. No it is not the Hampton Inn, but you get a lot better rate. It is not like it was 30 years ago and could use a lot of upgrading but I don't... more

On behalf of our hotel staff, I am writing to let you know how we appreciate your kind words of praise. Given the very nature of the hotel business, the hours are long and demanding. Day or night, good service depends upon people willing to give their very best at all times. That's why it's truly rewarding when a guest...

The staff was very nice and check in and out went very smoothly. The room was mostly clean. The carpet was "sticky" like it was soaked in soda or something and I didn't want to be barefoot. There was a hair on one of the pillows under the covers. The room was very old and not in very good shape.... more

I'm concerned about the stay you experienced at our hotel during your recent visit. I'm writing to thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to my attention. We accommodate many guests each evening, and we strive to make their stay a satisfying one. The principal goal of our hotel is to provide dependable service to all of...

I was in Bluefield for 2 days for business. I stayed at the Econo Lodge because it had the cheapest rates and it had a vacancy. The hotel is obviously an older hotel. I was not expecting to find everything brand new. I simply needed a place to sleep for a couple of nights. The room was clean. The comforters... more

Not to belabor the point but I continue to be disappointed by the Econolodge chain. I can't believe they are part of the 'Choice' group of properties. Every now and then I find an Econolodge that is adequate...This wasn't one of those times. more

We were quoted different prices momentarily at different phone conversations. Our room was filthy. The carpets were filthy. Carpets were unswept, and stained with large spots that covered the floor. The walls were stained and moldy and wallpaper buckled off the walls. Shower had pubic hair in it. There were bare wires visible and would be a hazard for young... more

Very Very Dirty, Smelly, broken locks, broken furniture, disgusting shower, old and rusty. all we wanted is to leave ASAP in the morning. On the way out we saw the "breakfast" (cold coffee, no milk). pay 10$ more for any other hotel. more

Good budget hotel. the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was not on a busy highway so there was not too much noise. They even has a very simplle continental breakfast with juice, coffee, bagels, donuits, etc. more
