This is the first B&B I have ever had to leave. When we arrived, the owner showed us around the property. The pond was overgrown and there was no good walking path to the creek--rather muddy on the day we were there. We went into the house -- immediately it smelled of cigarettes and a moldy smell. Sleepy Creek Tree Farm B&B is about a 10 minute drive from "downtown" Berkley Springs, and is set in a lovely wooded setting, with the the Sleepy Creek running through the property. You are essentially staying in the upstairs of the host's house, closed off only by a screen that prevents the animals (3 cats and 1 dog) from coming... more
