Spent last week there in Cabin No. 17. Great fun for grandchildren . Boy (13) played 9 holes every week day with grand mother; terrific course at modest price. Girl 911) went on 4 one hour trail rides with very friendly and competent outfitters. played tennis (courts are only OK) each day. Nature Program is extensive and Naturalists were wonderful.... more

If you have simple needs and enjoy the outdoors (e.g. hiking, birding, etc.) and relaxing on your porch in the forest with cool summer breeze, CRSP is the perfect place for you. We were pleasantly surprised, however, at the number of amenities at CRSP but were not so pleasantly surprised at our unsavory experience in one of the "standard cabins".... more

I have been going there ever since i was born. every christmas we go there for the past 26 years. It is a lovely place to see wildlife and walk and hike. the lodge food is really good, and the game room is a delight for kids. i would recomend it for any one wanting to stay in berkely springs... more

Cacapon Park is beautiful. Great hiking trails - gorgeous views of the mountains. Rooms are very small and "rustic" (a bit musty I'd say). Price is good though. Food was terrible. We had lunch at the restaurant. Ordered a turkey hoagie for 7.50 and got a hot dog roll with a few slices of turkey and melted cheese. My husband... more

Had a great time meeting family. We had 2 connecting rooms. Rooms are small- not much wiggle room with a twin and queen. On site restaurant served an unappealing dinner buffet. Pond swimming was fun and the surroundings were scenic. Kids enjoyed the game room that was not well maintained. (Lights were dim and some games were not working). Indoor... more

The park and its amenities were lovely this Memorial Day weekend; the cabin we stayed in (Cabin 1) was not so lovely. Safety issues: (1) in our cabin and throughout the park, hot water was set at a scaldingly hot level. The water heater in the cabin was right next to the kitchen sink and the bathroom was on the... more

We stayed at the State Park as a weekend away. We got there at night and the roads leading up to the lodge aren't exactly lighted, but the lodge was very nice. They still had Christmas lights up and made the lodge that much more nicer. When we walked in, there was a cheery old man who checked us in.... more

We stayed at a log cabin near the State Park (two floor cabin all to ourselves). It is listed under B&Bs for the area. I just want to say that the photo for the "lake" as they call it for this park is misleading. They make it look huge and talk about fishing and how it's stocked with fish in... more

My husband and I rented an 8 bedroom cabin and we loved it! After debating whether to stay in the town of Berkeley Springs or the resort, we chose the resort and were satisfied with our decision. While the furnishings are dated, the cabin was comfortable with all the amenities and situated in a lovely setting. Quiet and peaceful, we... more

We had our daughters wedding at Cacapon State Park. Just wanted to let you know the staff was excellent. We worked with a guy named Mike. He was great. They staff went far beyond their means to make the wedding extra special. We left with alot of great memories more
