Made reservations for handicapped, two double beds , pet friendly and non smoking. We got a smoker's room without handicapped - anything. My mom couldn't even get her walker into the bathroom! We couldn't find room for our dog's kennel in the room. Plus, we accessed the room from outside and the extra latch was missing!! When checking out, the... More

Me and my boyfriend wanted to spend our anniversary skiing. It was told that Winterplace Ski Resort was amazing. As always I took our dog, Dandy, on the trip. We were on a budget. All hotels surrounding the resort charged for a pet. Fortunately, We found Econo Lodge. It had no charge for pets. Everything there was OUTSTANDING. December 22-25... More

As long as you're not expecting the Ritz Carlton, I think you will like this property. Value for money index is very high. $53 rack rate ($48 with AARP). Clean room, nice staff, good bed, plenty of hot water in shower with good-enough water pressure, not to mention the microwave and fridge in the room. Location is excellent - you... More

This was suppose to be a 1 night stop on the way to South Carolina but ended up being a 3 night stay when the transmission went out of the car. The folks that work in this motel were extremely accommodating and everything was clean and fresh. Again, the hospitality in the motel was awesome. They had a very nice... More

We stayed at the hotel on our way to the Midwest. It appears to have some nice updates since last visit. The most redeeming quality is that they accept pets. Nothing fancy but very clean and a good value for the price - $69. The free breakfast is simple: donuts, cereal, bagels, boiled eggs, etc. Very nice staff.

we stayed over night on a longer trip The motel was clean, rooms recently refreshed with new paint and bath facilities. Room smelled fine. We had our golden retriever and the motel accepts large dogs and multiple dogs. Our room was on ground floor in back on the quiet side away from road. It was Bridge Day 2014 which attracted... More

This was an overnight stop for us on the way to Myrtle Beach. It doesn't look like much from the road. The hotel consists of two buildings. The front building is where the office and breakfast area is located. There's a reasonable amount of parking near the main building, but if you have a trailer or oversized vehicle you'll want... We recently stayed one night at the Econo Lodge, Beckley WV while traveling with our dog. The hotel is not fancy but well-kept. Our king room was small but clean and had everything needed including a fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. Nice grassy area right outside the room door for walking our dog. Check in was smooth and associates... More

We stayed here on our home from vacation in April. It was late by time we got to hotel. The room was ok- nothing special- good enough to sleep. Our kids thought it smelled old and musty and it really bothered them. Nothing really we could of done.

This place is awful. As a women traveling alone this place made me feel very unsafe. The door from the hallway leading outside was left open all night long. Even after I complained about it, the night manager stated it needed to be because there was no keyed entrance outside. So what? Let people come in through the lobby.... The... More
