Stopped at this hotel on our way through WV, not a great experience. The hotel looks great from the front, but when you drive around to the back you see it for what it is...old, rusty, and shabby. The rooms were clean and the people nice, but this hotel runs complete with uncomfortable beds, shabby decor, and views of a... more

This hotel was okay, nothing fancy, but clean. We just stayed one night passing through but all others in town were booked and pricey. I was hesitant since it's reviews were pretty poor but it really wasn't bad. It had a refrigerator and micro in the room but most importantly it was clean. We didn't stick around for the cont.... more

We had stayed here in May and it was a pleasant stay. This time, however, it wasn't so great. I made the reservation thru my Choice Hotel member number and got a decent government rate of $69.99 for the night of 10/5. We were stuck in the back, older looking building with pets. We didn't have pets and I wasn't... more

We travel until time to rest so rarely make plans ahead of time. This place was busy with a lot of kids and pets. Staff pleasant, helpful. Room next door barking dog until staff handled. Room clean, continental breakfast not tried since overcrowded. more

We were traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday and decided on booking a 1 night stay at this hotel. They do accept pets and that is important to us so we went with the hotel, sight unseen. I did not realize that the hotel has 2 sections, the pictures on the web shows their building which has enclosed hallways, interior rooms.... more

You can't tell from the front of the Comfort Inn, but once you go behind the building where the Reservation Desk is, you will see an enourmous hotel for such a smaller city. Has 4 floors. We did not bring any pet, but all rooms except them. Our King size bedroom was located on the 2nd floor. Very small room... more

My husband and I, and our two dogs, just spent an extended weekend break at the Beckley Comfort Inn. What a pleasure! We had not traveled with our dogs before so I searched online for a pet friendly hotel. There are several in the Beckley area, but all were sold out except the Comfort Inn. The room size was average,... more

I have stayed at this motel on several occasions. Despite the fact that there are nearby hotels with better national reputations, I find the Comfort beyond reproach. My expenditure is reimbursed by business, so cost is not an issue to me. The establishment is staffed by well meaning, friendly persons. They make an effort to rectify any problem. The establishment... more

Unless you are looking for dirty feet. It was impossible to shower and walk to bed without ended up with dirty feet, which will give you some indication of the overall cleanliness of the place. The room was crowded (too narrow) and we found it very noisey. Breakfast the next morning was impossible - a bus tour and other travelers... more
