After a long drive from Canada we chose this motel on the basis of the coupon description (pick up the coupon books at the State Welcome Center-great savings) The exterior of the back units was a bit off-putting but it's obviously being upgraded. Our room on the 3rd floor was totally immaculate, in perfect condition, spacious & well equipped: fridge,... more

this was recommended by AAA. I was not impressed. The elevator ground and cranked so much as though it might finally give up - with me in it- I used the stairs to the third floor the whole time I was there. It was an odd place - falling apart, under construction, shabby & much used. Some people let their... more

A good, basic property. A better value than most in it's category. It's pet friendly, with no charge or deposit for your pet. Our room was was small; but unlike the previous review, clean, with no pet odors or so much deodorrzer that you gag. It did however smell a bit like smoke. Not so great on that front. Regardless,... more

The reviews below are accurate, great place for pet owners, no pet fee and are very proud to be pet freindly. We got a king room, which wasnt so "KING"!!! Tiny room with new furniture as they have "NEWLY RENOVATED" if you would like to call it that. There were alot of workman here and their deisel trucks going by... more

Stopped at this hotel on our way through WV, not a great experience. The hotel looks great from the front, but when you drive around to the back you see it for what it is...old, rusty, and shabby. The rooms were clean and the people nice, but this hotel runs complete with uncomfortable beds, shabby decor, and views of a... more

This hotel was okay, nothing fancy, but clean. We just stayed one night passing through but all others in town were booked and pricey. I was hesitant since it's reviews were pretty poor but it really wasn't bad. It had a refrigerator and micro in the room but most importantly it was clean. We didn't stick around for the cont.... more

We had stayed here in May and it was a pleasant stay. This time, however, it wasn't so great. I made the reservation thru my Choice Hotel member number and got a decent government rate of $69.99 for the night of 10/5. We were stuck in the back, older looking building with pets. We didn't have pets and I wasn't... more

We travel until time to rest so rarely make plans ahead of time. This place was busy with a lot of kids and pets. Staff pleasant, helpful. Room next door barking dog until staff handled. Room clean, continental breakfast not tried since overcrowded. more

We were traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday and decided on booking a 1 night stay at this hotel. They do accept pets and that is important to us so we went with the hotel, sight unseen. I did not realize that the hotel has 2 sections, the pictures on the web shows their building which has enclosed hallways, interior rooms.... more
