We stopped here on our way to Washington, DC from St. Louis. The room was clean and spacious (the shower was huge!). The staff was friendly and the free breakfast filling (donuts, yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc), Good price. Beautiful scenery with mountains and all. Only thing missing was a pool. I had a terribe stay. I reserved a non-smoking room; hawever when I arrived all they had was smoking. The room smelled horrible. The sheets, curtains and carpet smeeled like someone just cam out of our room having a smoking party. I had to place a towel over the pillow so I can sleep and not smell the smoke so... more

This place is adequate for an overnight stay. It is located next door to a prison, and the outside security doors of the motel don't lock, but I survived my stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and understanding and assisted us in switching rooms even though it was a busy weekend. Even the housekeeping staff were friendly. more

We checked into the sleep in at 9:30pm during a snowstorm, when we were afraid to drive any further. They had the best rates of any hotel/motel in the area. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Stayed here for work at the MSHA Academy which is right down the road. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is simple but works if you just need something sweet in the morning. Rates are great.
