We stayed for 2 nights in a double queen room. The staff was great. The front desk gal handled each person and did not make them feel like they should be rushed, even with people waiting. The room was large, clean and the beds are comfortable. Great strong coffee and the breakfast was perfect. Enough of everything to please everyone.... More

We stayed in a king garden room. It was very clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The front desk people were nice and courteous. This was a good experience and we will stay here again.

Every time we stopped at the front desk, from check-in to check-out over 3 nights, whomever was on duty at the front desk was chatting with another employee or friend and could barely be bothered to help us. Not at all helpful about where to eat or walk. While the interior of the room was okay, the outside buildings are... More

When we arrived on 2014/07/13 (walk in, asking for room rates) around 5 pm there was some confusion on the front desk. The reception lady (an apprentice?) asked she needed our names and address first because she "had to start a reservation on the computer" for us. When she told us the rate we informed her that the rates on... More

We stayed at the Yakima Red Lion Hotel for 2 nights while attending a conference there. I'm certain this was a wonderful hotel in the 1980s, but it seems like nothing has been done to it since then. Worn carpet, old furniture and fixtures, and a television that was probably produced in the 80s. No flat screen, no HD. I... More

The room itself was outdated and in need of paint. However, it seemed clean overall. My issues, and the reasons for the poor rating are that we could not get any air conditioning to run.and, in spite of calling the front desk and other numbers in the hotel, we couldn't get any answer to help solve the problem. I tried... More

Handicap accessible accommodations were awful. Have already downloaded ADA forms to file a complaint. Had to enter the restaurant through the back entry, move furniture in the dark. No roll in showers, grab bar for toilet was behind the toilet. How does that help? Outside doors were heavy and difficult. To reach the grab bars in the bath I had... More

Red Lion hotels usually have a reputation of being pretty glamorous and upscale- this place fell flat. The biggest disappointment for me was that my room was located OUTSIDE. When I stepped out of my room it was outside in the elements. This is not something I expect to happen when I book a room in a hotel- where the... More

The staff welcomed me warmly and the room was comfortable, clean, and big enough for both queen sized beds. The bed was comfortable and the desk provided a good working space. The breakfast was adequate although you had to be content with the pre cooked scrambled eggs. I was there for a conference and the dinner and lunch were superb!... More

When in a pinch they didn't come through. However, the hotel is clean (dated) and most of the staff is helpful and friendly. If you are headed to the convention center it is only steps away. The wait staff in the lounge are fun and efficient.
