We traveled from Seattle to Yakima the weekend of Oct. 4 - 6 to have one last encounter with summer, and this place did not disappoint. What I am looking for in a room is 1) a comfortable bed; 2) A clean room; 3) A great pool with a hot jacuzzi; 4) Refrigerator in the room, and 5) Powerful shower... More

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Yakima Valley Hotel & Conference Center. I really appreciate your taking the time to review our property. Our staff enjoyed hearing about your experience. Yakima is certainly a good place to visit when you need some 80 degree weather in October. We're happy to be here for you. I do apologize for... More

We have been here for an hour and the pool is filthy and hot tub is cold. We came to sit in the sun, jump in the pool (one of two is closed - the clean one) and the hot tub is cold. Worse, they don't seem to care.

Your opinion and experience are important to us. Our staff is dedicated to giving you the best service and hospitality experience possible. Stayed there one night during the cannonball run. Very Nice Rooms and a great breakfast! Didn't use the pool but it looked great...both of them. Good location for visiting Mt. Rainer and this area of Washington.

I've stayed at this property many times over the years, when it was a Red Lion, then Doubletree, then Clarion. None of those chains invested much in keeping the property updated and now that it appears to be independent, that trend continues in spades. There is no longer a functioning restaurant, only a coffee shop. The bar is open only... More

Thank you for staying with us, We appreciate your patronage. I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your first stay with us as a new business. We've been working steadily on improving the hotel since taking over in November 2013. As you said none of the previous chains invested much in updating the property. We've got a lot... More

This was our first time staying at the YVHCC since it was a Clarion. We typically come here once or twice a year to enjoy the sunshine and swimming pool. Decades ago this was built as a Red Lion and many of the rooms are very spacious. The buildings are showing their age but the new management is making improvements;... More

We stayed one night in a suite and it was totally worth it! The room was very spacious & comfortable, but the bathroom, with the jacuzzi tub, was definitely the highlight! So, so relaxing! The two pools and hot tub have been remodeled so that was a nice touch. Overall, very impressed and will definitely be coming back!

I had a very pleasant time at this hotel! The front desk employees where so very friendly and helpful the first one more than the one on night shift but they were both great. The room was a nice size the door to the bathroom was kind of hard to open and close sort of rusty but it was still... More

We were in town for a fastpitch tournament, this hotel suited our needs perfectly, value priced and centrally located. We don't spend much time in our room when we travel for tournaments, if it's safe, clean and affordable, we're pretty happy. The pools were great, we enjoyed both, we slept thru breakfast, so no comment about breakfast and we took... More

We had a great experience when we stayed here last May. We are a girls fastpitch team and had a block of rooms for the families and players to stay next to each other at a group rate which we appreciated! Also, we had a night off and they offered the hotel van and a driver that took our players... More

This hotel used to be a Red Lion and a Clarion, it has the old and worn out furnishings, carpets, drapes, and paint, and all rooms don't have flat screen TV's. It definitely needs upgrading on both interior and exterior. Some AC units are too noisy, some fridges don't get cold enough.

Thank you for leaving this helpful review to point out the places where we can improve. You may have noticed during your stay that we've been doing a lot of landscaping outside. The process is slow but we will be working our way inward. Try us again soon, enjoy the Laugh Lounge Comedy Club and take advantage of our complimentary... More
