Visited for a convention. Large hotel with nice restaurant and convention. A bit older hotel that has been renovated. large pool outside but we did not use because it is out of season. Staff was superb. Cleanliness met my standards. Location is downtown which doesn't matter much since Yakima is pretty small.

Helpful front desk, and very fresh, clean sheets, towels and comforter. Only problem was one bed lamp switch did not work properly. Quiet. We will return here. Near good downtown restaurants accessible by car.

Stayed here with a group for a couple nights.......won't do it again. Some of the other reviews here are spot on. Besides the fact that it's in a seedy part of town, the place is run down. The wallpaper in the rooms, which has probably been there since the 70's, is peeling off the wall, the rooms smell very musty,... More

This place was recommended tome, so I thought I'd try it. The neighborhood was sketchy and in the older west side of town. Really central to the area though. The price was great, probably lower that other places. The whole hotel was dated, but very clean and well kept. The rooms are huge with lots of room. The surprise was... More

Booked for an overnight business trip. It is pet friendly and inexpensive but in a run down area of town and is showing its age as well. We actually didn't spend the night because the hallway smelled of a gas leak and I was headachy after a short time. The three hour drive home and the prospect of our own... More

This visit was a one night stay with my husband and two teen girls. Checked in late, one staff member at desk, very nice person. Efficient check in. Clean rooms. 100% smoke free which is important to me as my daughter and I are smoke sensitive. Great breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage, cereal and oatmeal. One con: looks like they... More

On July 19 we checked in for an overnight stay. So went to the restaurant to get a bite to eat and the booths and tables were so dirty and ants were all over the drink dispensers so we left and the staff thought that people that complained were funny, so off to the room we went and to find... This is an old run down facility that is in desperate need of remodel. They did offer a free dinner buffet which was not worth the price. It was barely edible and appeared to be out for a long time. The free breakfast buffet was barely worth the price. In short if you are travelling through Yakima keep going.

Don't let the photos fool you. This property has been seriously neglected to the point of extreme seediness. I stayed here on Jul 7, 2015 and left after only one night. The carpet down the middle of my room was torn and rolled back, perhaps nine feet long of bubbling trip hazard. My room smelled of stale cigars and the... More

Dear Kevin W, I am very sorry to hear about your unsatisfactory experience. That room should not have been rented out to you with the carpet needing to be stretched. I will look into the cigar smell you mentioned, as this is a non smoking hotel any smells of that nature in our guest rooms are unacceptable. We greatly appreciate... More

I have stayed in this hotel annually in June for several years. The rooms are spacious and fairly well appointed for their age of furnishings. I appreciate having a room with a king-sized bed, a desk, and a very nice easy chair with ottoman. The front desk staff is excellent as are the wait staff and banquet staff. Management tells...
