I'm giving 4 stars because it is not an urban boutique hotel. For the kind of hotel it is, the owners are doing an outstanding job. It is a beautifully maintained older property. Room was extremely clean and very cute. There is a microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board. Bed and recliner were comfortable. Had a continental breakfast--muffins, bagels, yogurt,... More

If you really want to know what service means, you have to visit this place. A great couple runs this place and takes care of everything. You can enjoy the wonderful little backyard and the view or the great photos in the lobby. Breakfast is very good, variety is just enough. But hey, you can complain on the best place... More

Stayed for one night and would happily return to stay again and longer. Rooms was clean, basic and with a small frig and microwave. For us, the free wi fi in the room was an added value that we needed. The breakfast was simple and plentiful, with trays provided it you wanted to take your food back to your room.... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Was clean, comfortable and quiet. Includes a nice light, bagel, juice and coffee breakfest. We sat outside at the area where you cold view the river and wildlife. Well recommended....

Two days of pluming backups of the toilet. Manager not aware of problems he is in charge of. Stupidly ignores the plumbing problems as other tenants never complain. Parking lot is parked in by long trucks and boat trailers, although parking is just adequate for the motel with maximum rented. Manager does not handle problems well so is very frustrating... More

The Lewis Inn was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning, while limited in its options, had more quality items. For instance, my cheese bagel actually tasted like something. Yogurt was refrigerated, which I appreciated. Though I didn't notice until morning, it seemed like there was a patio overlooking a river that looked really pretty. I'd stay here if I'm... More

Hubby and I stayed here in October 2013. He was down in Woodland for business and I had a chance to tag along. Having worked in the hotel industry long ago, I know what I like and what I don't like! Have to say, I was impressed with this little motel in the heart of Woodland. It's basic, but very... More

We had a pleasant stay at the Lewis River Inn. It's privately owned which was a nice change from the major chain hotels we've been staying in during this trip. I had my doubts when I saw a group of young people who were long term guests (construction workers?) but my doubts were unfounded. We had a quiet, restful stay.... More

My husband and I paid a little bit extra in order to reserve an upstairs king room with our own balcony overlooking the Lewis River. It was well worth it! Our room was large and clean, with half-fridge and microwave, and our king bed was the most comfortable bed we slept on during our whole vacation! Our balcony did indeed... More

We were traveling Interstate 5 at 9:00PM and were really tired. All the big chain hotels were full so we took a chance on this place. Wow, what a surprise. Clean, quiet, efficient, and friendly for $67 a night. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
