This was our first visit to the park and it was great. We had made a last minute reservation and still obtained a great spot, even though the place was full. It's only a few miles from I-5 but it's quiet, and right on the Columbia river. There's a Walmart 2 miles away too. The small town of Woodland has... More

It is a well kept park with a lot of grassy areas to walk your dog. The park has both back in and pull thru sites. Some of the pull thru sites have grass and others have gravel. All sites have full hookups with both 30 and 50 amps. The office has a small store stocked with basic supplies. There... More

This is a great Park. There are about 25 sites that face the river. We stayed in site 76 which is the highest price at $49. However, this site has a very large patio area and as an extra you have a very large grass area with a fire pit that is only for site 76. The river is at... More

A bit off of I-5 which makes it a quiet oasis, parked on the riverbank side of the park looking over a mowed grass field and a sandy beach, full hookups on a spacious pad. A very well kept RV Park, not what we expected, everything was first class. We were using this park as an overnight stop, next time... More

I believe they take advantage of the situation of being the only rv park in the area accessible to Vancouver / Portland area. bathroom was under going reconstuction, and not very serviceable. Can only walk the dog in one grass area which is constantly wet from watering. Not very accommodating. Tried to extend time from 5 to 7 days, and... More

The Front Lawn area is 3.5 acres and all a dog walking area. There are 17 sprinkler zones that run 40 minutes each. That of course leaves 16 zones or 3.3 acres with no sprinklers running. If the Lawn was constantly wet, the moisture sensors for each zone would sense the moisture status and by-pass that zone. Since the Lawn... More

Never, in my 27 years of camping throughout WA State have I encountered such rude hosts. We arrived with 2 trailers, one family of 5 and one family of 3. We decided to cut the cost on the extremely high-priced place and say we had 4 and 4, since the 5th in the one family would have cost extra per... More

Yes, you lied about the number of people in your family in order to avoid paying extra fees ($2.00). When your young son corrected you, you said "hush", and proceeded to register as a party of 4 instead of 5. Inhospitable, no, setting a very poor example for your young son, yes. Oh! and we let you get away with... More

We stayed one night on our way north, so didn't experience a long stay here, but for $43 (including Good Sam discount) it seemed pretty high to be in a slot really close to rigs on each side, with no privacy whatsoever and only a picnic table that wasn't exactly useable since you were either right up next to your... This park is set back just a little from the river. Its easy to see the boats/ships make their way up/down the river. Getting here was easy and upon arrival, we see that this place has a lot of RVs, less trailers. We travel with a 26' travel trailer with wasn't a problem. He park is close to a couple... More

I'm a full timer and in June 2012 I chose to live at Columbia River RV Park to take advantage of the Columbia River scenery. Beforehand I also read that the owner was "Billy Goat Gruff", a curmudgeon of sorts, (which I told him recently , he cracked a faint smile by the way). To my surprise BGG has mellowed... More

Clean it up ? ? We cannot, because the riverfront between the water and our grass is a protected habitat zone and the property of Washington State Department of Natural Resources. We cannot touch or disturb the beach area.
