Unfortunately, the Auberge is somewhat difficult to find and defeated 2 gps units but we managed to find our way. I somewhat agree with cindyla58, the place does need a little updating but all the basic requirements are there and the shower in our suite was great even though you had to climb into a jacuzzi tub to use it.... Bonjour Connie: Thanks for your review. The Studio Suite does have a very large (4 person) Jacuzzi type bathtub...it does have a step to climb into it, maybe you missed it? Thought I do have to admit, even with the step you do have to climb into it and maybe for older folks it is not that convenient...not that I... More

First, this place is NOT what the website says...it might have been several years ago, but not currently. It is in need of a ALOT of TLC . The grounds are overgrown, the room my friends and I stayed in was very strange, it was a mix of old and just slightly newer, I slept in a closet on a... More

Hi and good morning to you Cindy: There are three things that I want to address: We serve a French petit dejeuner every morning...which are croissant and chocolate and almond type of croissant directly out of the oven, nothing that has pear in it. We serve what we advertise and do not deviate. We do however make a pear kutchen... More

We were gifted a Groupon for 2 nights at Auberge, including a French cooking class. I will start with the negatives, as I believe it is best to end with the good stuff. Our Groupon was for the studio suite. When I called to book our stay, it was very difficult to find dates where the studio was available before... More

Hi Amy: I certainly understand how frustrating it is when you call an establishment and not much is available. It is rare for us to do this type of promotions for two nights and a cooking class and we were surprised as well how popular it was. The bookings came in quickly and of course weekends were the first to... More

I called on the morning of the night I planned to stay there (talk about short notice), Dec. 7 2013 (you can read more about our experience from my better half's point of view in the honeymoon suite guest book if you ever stay in this room). I was planning to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years that night... More

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband. When making reservation, had to upgrade to Honeymoon Suite as the less expensive option was booked. Didn't see any other guests while there so did wonder. The room was lovely and fully equipped (except for Kleenix which seemed odd). The gardens would be lovely in the spring/summer. Misty moist mornings for... More

Thank you for spending the weekend with us! I remember this Classical Cuisine Cooking Class and working with you on the pie dough. It was a fun group of people who had not met before, finding out they had lots in common...like living in the same apartment building of all things! Our normal cooking class quorum is 8, but when... There are cooking classes and then there are cooking classes. The ones at Auberge Edge of Seattle are magical. Nancy, the proprietress, thinks of everything to make the evening special. She brings in chefs who are actually from France and they give the instructions on the food preparation. Everyone pitches in, and there is a real camaraderie. It's nice that... More

DO NOT STAY HERE if you are thinking this is anywhere near the wineries and great restaurants of Woodinville. It is no where near them! The rooms are okay but priced much higher than they are worth. We had reserved a room for three, but on the day of our stay, our adult son had the stomach flu so was... More

We are sorry you are disappointed with our cancellation policy. Having the ability to move you to another suite would not have saved you any money...as the suite you were in was the least costly. We did send you a map and directions, I'm sorry you found us difficult to find after visiting the wineries in downtown Woodinville. More

This was our second visit. We enjoyed it so much we decided to come again. We are not 'cooks' but the first time we visited we learned many handy hints in the kitchen that we used almost daily. That was such a fun experience we decided to try again when we were in the Seattle area. This visit was equally... More

This review is kind of hard to post. Did we enjoy ourselves? Yes. But we always enjoy ourselves. We really enjoyed eating our dinner with the other guests. It was great meeting and talking to them all, which was the highlight of this trip. We purchased an Amazon Local coupon and made our reservations. This was our first contact with... More

Bonjour Jack: Yes, I remember that class well! That's the class where we had a new Chef working with us for the first time AND also the class that we lost our oven in. It was a pretty exciting class having to improvise and re-do items that the oven burned. Fortunately; for all, we do have another oven that we... More

I decided to contact Auberge for our rehearsal dinner, because I wanted a French-themed dinner for our son and his bride. WOW! Nancy and her crew came through superbly, from setting and decorations (we wanted a French cafe feel) to amazing food. We had a number of people in our group with food sensitivities and she and Chef Philipe prepared... More

Thank you so much for this review! We had fun and enjoying working with you on the Rehearsal Dinner, as most of our business is centered around the French Specialty Cooking School. We do not do many of these, but when we do it's always a pleasure to "put on the Ritz" and share with our clients the French Joie... More
