this is a great spot in Winthrop. Very well priced for its location, close to downtown, walking distance from the IGA and a good pool... the WIFI this weekend was not cooperating, I had to "borrow" from the Winthrop Inn next door. Get a room in the 2nd floor, otherwise your neighbors might wake you, but that's common at any... More

I stayed at Abbycreek recently on a business trip, and the service was excellent! Upon our arrival there is some confusion on who was going to be staying in the hotel and if there be enough room is available. Brent the hotel manager, was excellent and solving problems making sure that everyone was happy and had a room. The level... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Alderbrook Inn. The accommodations were really nice, with classic duvet covers on the bed, and everything was very clean. The courtyard was beautiful in the snow, and I loved the views out the windows. There isn't a bad view in Winthrop! Thanks for a great stay!

I had stayed here for two weeks right after the new owners took over. They immediately started making improvements. I found myself here again for another 3 weeks. In that time there were all new linens placed on the bed, a new large flat screen tv installed and a new refrigerator brought in. In addition to these room improvements the... More

We have stayed here previously when it was under different ownership and the place was in turmoil. Apparently it recently changed hands, changed its name. The management couple had only been there a day or two when we arrived in a group. The manager struggled with the check in process, but eventually we were all directed to our rooms, which... More

Where to stay in a popular destination is a good question when you don’t decide to leave until the last minute. I went searching for a hotel on Friday afternoon for a check-in that night and I found my choices limited. As it turns out, it was the opening day of deer season, and so most rooms had been booked... This Inn was clean and comfortable and the owners seems to go out of their way to find ways to make you comfortable. I didn't know what to expect but every request was met with a smile and a can do attitude. The free breakfast was well thought out using the small space they have available and the conversation pleasant.... More

I stayed for three nights. The bed was very comfortable with linens that looked more like 4 star hotel than country motel. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was very convenient. Staff at the motel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was unremarkable but I wasn't expecting much. Wifi worked impeccably. This place is reasonable compared to other... More

When we’re making an overnight stop on a road trip, I don’t ask much more from a motel than a comfortable night’s sleep and a good shower, in a clean, safe and quiet environment. The Cascade Inn met all these needs. Our 1-king room was large and adequately furnished, though lacking the fridge and microwave provided in most places. Good... More
