Everyone has an ensuite in their trailer these days, right? Well, perhaps, but when the whole family is sharing, or you're in a tent, maybe three fairly small facilities for a camp this big isn't quite enough. However, we all managed in friendly queues, and the rest of the park is great. Good sized swimming pool (it gets HOT in... More

we stayed at the koa in withrop for 6 days with the grandkids. i thought i would have to work real hard to keep them busy for that length of time here. the kids had a blast. they are 9 and 7 years old and never ran out of things to do. it was probably one of the more relaxing... More

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our tent site was large and right by the river, a very pleasant setting. They had a fantastic new bathroom building at one end of the campground. The pool was busy during the middle of the day so we found ourselves using it late in the afternoon instead. The town of Winthrop, which... More

We camped here with a tent in July. This is a large KOA and was crowded the night we camped but we got a good tent site. The camp store is well-stocked and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean but the shower was cold. There was a sign saying to let the water run a... More

My daughter and I had a great experience at this campground. When I made the reservations, I noted that I wanted a spot by the river that was close to bathrooms, but not right next to them, and the staff really went out of their way to accomodate this and make sure we got something that would work for us.... We have stayed here for our wedding anniversary in our truck camper for many many years. Staff are ALWAYS friendly whether moving a sprinkler from a nearby campsite to making reservation by phone to getting you checked in once you arrive. They go the extra mile to get you a camping spot for your setup. Spots are green and grass... More

My family and friends have been coming to Winthrop KOA for years. My niece and nephew were just wee ones and now they are married and planning families of their own. The group has evolved as well as the form of camping. We all started out with tents and now we pretty much all have tent trailers or hard side... More

This is my tenth night here over many years. I try to avoid the crowded weekends such as the Jazz festival and other events. Stayed on a Tuesday evening. Tent camping on a motorcycle with my friends. Pool was very clean and the store was well stocked. Staff was especially helpful. Grass was very lush making for good tenting. Quiet... More

We camped here for a few days while we explored North Cascades National Park. The park is very neat and well kept. The sites are wide and spacious with plenty of room to maneuver. We pull a 40ft 5th wheel and did not have any trouble parking. The park is easy to find, right off the highway. There are lots... More

We stayed here for the first time this fall and plan to make this one of our go to locations. The area is beautiful, right on the river. The grounds and cabins are very well maintained and the staff where friendly and helpful. Our cabin was warm and comfortable. We went to the Twisp River Pub for dinner and highly... More
