Reasonably priced and basic but clean. Bring yoghurt or milk to compliment their excellent scones. Their shop which in winter can be set up as a wax room is appreciated. You can hear your neighbors but is fine and great if you are all on the same schedule.

I am reviewing this because the staff went out their way to accommodate us. We showed up as 2 people instead of the 1 we reserved for, and asked for a roll-away bed. They thought the room was too small for one, so they comped us a big double room. No extra charge for the second person, either. An extremely... More

Last minute plan to visit Winthrop for a Ski weekend landed us at the Winthrop Inn by default. My wife called the hotel and was greeted by a very helpful, polite, professional employee. We travel with a dog so things are always a little more complicated and although the Inn had a few rooms left they did not have any... More

We wanted to visit the historic town of Winthrop, and since it's off the beaten track there are no Super 8's, or Best Westerns around, so we took a chance on the Winthrop Inn.Good choice! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the lady at the desk was very helpful. No breakfast, but she did have scones and hot coffee to... More

We were on a coast to coast trip, easily found this place with our nav at sunset, called up to the staff who reached the office in 2 minutes, and after we inspected our room, we easily moved in for a one night stay. This hotel is well-maintained, super clean, and top notch. Reasonably priced and full service, with friendly... More

We stayed three nights the middle of August and the stay was pleasant. It does not have a lot of amenities and the hot tub was not working but the air conditioning was. . Our room was on the side of the main road but it was quiet. Couldn't say much for the scones served for breakfast as they were... More

We got to town later in the evening, and found the desk attendant to be most friendly and welcoming. Coffee was good/ scones were cold but tasty. This was good basic accommodation, and if the bed had been comfortable, we could have rated it higher. We got the feeling that the owners/ operators really care about this inn, but just... More

Good value for a basic motel in the great location. Fine for families and other travelers. The Methow Valley is a gem and there is much to explore so this makes a good stop if you are doing the North Cascades Loop, as we were. Service is excellent. Only negative is the wifi does not work in the rooms but... More

We spent four nights at this hotel earlier this month. This is an old hotel and certainly not the Marriott quality but then it is not the Marriott price either. We had a second floor room with a balcony and two double beds. The room was small as was the bathroom which held the commode and shower (no bathtub). The... More

Although the hotel itself is fine, I was disappointed not to be able to get the wi-fi in my room at the end of the day. The front desk lady just said, sorry, there was nothing they could do. I reminded her that this was an advertised service for which people choose hotels by. She suggested I use it near... More
