I travel through Winthrop several times a year and have stayed at many different places. The Winthrop Inn is a bargain and pet friendly. The grounds are meticulous and you walk to the river, market and restaurants. I'll be back again soon!

I'm traveling across the country with my two teenagers and this is the first time I've felt inspired to review one of the places we've stayed. The front desk staff is lovely, the rooms are quaint, clean, and comfortable, and the location is walking distance to the river and not too far from the adorable town of Winthrop. We had... More

What a great find in a popular tourist area for under $100 a night! Clean, cute, comfortable bed. Not luxurious, but better than serviceable. We enjoyed the coffee and scones bar and our little balcony. The huge green lawn out back was the perfect place to spread our blanket and read after a long hike and a cool shower.

We recently were fortunate enough to spend two nights at this lovely Inn. We had gone expecting to stay at another location but fell in love with this place instead. Everyone from the front desk folks to the housekeeping staff were so friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the homemade scones and delicious coffee in the mornings. They had a... More

We stayed here June 2014. The room was clean, walls vwry thin, room and bed were smaller than expected. The biggest negative for us was the distance from town. Probably a 15 minute walk...but we didn't try it to confirm. There is a small but nice pool and a hot tub. The river is near by but not what I... More

The Winthrop inn is one of the less expensive places to stay just outside of downtown Winthrop. The hotel staff is exceptional! The rooms are clean, large and have refrigerators. We thought the beds were more comfortable than most also (we prefer softer beds). This is a budget motel however so it is not fancy. Probably due to the location... More

We were here on 10/31/13 and we came across this hotel. It was a great place to stay. Comfortable beds, wifi, hot tub and pool. We enjoyed the cleanliness and warmth of this place. Staff was very friendly and we had homemade scones with hot coffee for breakfast. We would definitely stay her again!

Great Place to Spend the Night. Be rested for the 2nd half of your weekend Journey. Enjoy a Good Dinner at one of several Rustic eating places near by. Don't for get your Cameras, so many Fall Colors. Next time I plan to spend 2 nights, an extra day for hike in the area.

We were looking for a pet-friendly motel near the Cascades when we stopped here in September. We liked the Winthrop Inn so much that we ended up staying here for three nights. Our room was on the second floor with a nice balcony overlooking the launch area for a local hot air balloon ride, and we really enjoyed watching them... More

One night stay, very warm welcome...including a tasting of the breakfast scone fresh from the oven! Very nice. The room was exceptonaly clean a good size. Fridge not switched on so had to wait for that to chill. Microwave in room. Shower was small but very clean. No coffee machine in room and needed to go to reception to get... More
