Just returned from 3 nights (June 28-30) and this was our 4th visit - will be back. The owners are very pleasant and helpful - was looking forward to the owner's children coming by to sell their home made ice cream but must have missed them! Darn! Just a five minute walk to the shops and restaurants in Winthrop. Nice,... More

This is the cleanest RV Park Ive been to before. The shower and bathrooms were recently tiled and arranged very nicely. Anna, her family and others who work with them were extremely helpful and hospitable. The Wifi was a huge bonus as well. They even had a bubble machine they let us use to entertain our 2 young children. I... More

Campground and Host, Anna remembered us from last year, does not get more welcoming than that, campground is very clean and well taken care of, always a good stay. With in walking distance of town, so you can stroll the nice town of Winthrop WA as often as you want without ever getting back in your car. Very clean showers... More

We were looking for an affordable stop on our cross-country trip and found this place on Google. We had a great time here! The campground is very well run. The restrooms are immaculate; wi-fi is very good. There is a very interesting museum across the street with a walkway down to town, and a great bakery/breakfast shop. A memorable experience.

Our family stayed this past weekend for 2 nights over Father's Day Weekend. The campground is located 1 street up from downtown in Winthrop, and the owners do a good job at accommodating RVs and tent campers, *without* turning the place into a packed RV-only park. It indeed is a campground, and worth your time especially if you are coming... More

Booked at Pine Near RV Park as it`s a very short walk to the centre of town. Our site we booked online was still occupied but that wasn`t a problem being early in the season there were plenty of sites available and they let us chose any site we wanted. The area is completely grassed in and very well kept... More

Kay and I would like to thank you, your staff, and kids for the warm welcome we had on our recent long holiday weekend at Pine Near RV Park. Our group of 4 couples felt welcomed, treated wonderfully, and had an excellent time. Your constant work to upgrade your facilities, and high level of customer service, will keep us returning... Are you sitting down? There's a campground with wi-fi that actually works, and it's smack-dab in the middle of the attractive, sporty town of Winthrop, Washington, the hub of the beautiful Methow Valley. But Pine Near offers much more. The newly renovated bathroom, shower, and laundry center is nicely designed and spotlessly clean, and the commercial-grade washers and dryers work... More

Thank you so very much for the kind review. Sharing your experience with others really helps to get an "eyes-on" idea of what the Pine Near is really like. Also, thank you for the shout outs on The Shafer Museum and Winthrop itself! Looking forward to seeing you again some day. ~Anna More

My wife and stayed in a "miners shack" in mid February. We found it to be very cute inside and out. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the design and decorations of the cabin. It was much more like a "tiny house" than a camping cabin. The showers and bathrooms were also spotless and well... More

My wife and I stayed at the Pine Near during the winter and really enjoyed our stay. Highlights are that the bathrooms are very clean, the caretakers are very nice and hardworking as is the owner and the location is great being only one block off main street. It is very easy to walk to coffee or to a restaurant... More
