Are you sitting down? There's a campground with wi-fi that actually works, and it's smack-dab in the middle of the attractive, sporty town of Winthrop, Washington, the hub of the beautiful Methow Valley. But Pine Near offers much more. The newly renovated bathroom, shower, and laundry center is nicely designed and spotlessly clean, and the commercial-grade washers and dryers work... More

Thank you so very much for the kind review. Sharing your experience with others really helps to get an "eyes-on" idea of what the Pine Near is really like. Also, thank you for the shout outs on The Shafer Museum and Winthrop itself! Looking forward to seeing you again some day. ~Anna More

My wife and stayed in a "miners shack" in mid February. We found it to be very cute inside and out. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the design and decorations of the cabin. It was much more like a "tiny house" than a camping cabin. The showers and bathrooms were also spotless and well... More

My wife and I stayed at the Pine Near during the winter and really enjoyed our stay. Highlights are that the bathrooms are very clean, the caretakers are very nice and hardworking as is the owner and the location is great being only one block off main street. It is very easy to walk to coffee or to a restaurant... More

You really can't beat this place for price and location. I loved being just a short walk to downtown Wintrhop and all the restaurants and shops. The hostess was very nice and helpful. Their restrooms and showers were the cleanest and prettiest I've ever seen at a campground. They also had great firewood at a reasonable price. A lot of... More

Travelled the Cascades for the 1st time in our new motorhome. Stopped for one night at the Pine Near RV Park. 1 Block from town, your can cut through the Schaefer Museum and down some stairs. Quaint little town, lots of great places to eat, . Went to a beautiful little store front of a glass blower!. His studio was... More

Great location - across the street from historic Schaefer Museum and a short walk (<5 mins) to downtown. Very clean grounds and amenities (showers, laundry). 10 minute drive to Sun Mountain Lodge. Anna and staff are kind and accomodating hosts.

Great value and location. The price was very reasonable for a night of tenting and the facilities were first class. This campground is a perfect location just a short walk to the main street in Winthrop. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

Pine Near RV Park sits up on a hill in Winthrop with about a five minute walk from the very cute downtown. We did not utilize the showers or bathrooms but did use the laundry which was clean and did the job. The showers are $1 apiece. The lot we were on was nice and big and off to the... More

All the previous reviewers have experienced what my husband and I have known for a while now. Pine Near RV Park is the Best Place On Earth for camping. We have watched Anna work very hard over the last few years to bring what could only be described as a dilapidated run down patch of tall grass into a beautifully... More
