We rented loop a for 5 days. What a great little campground it was quiet and the owner gave us a great deal when we took the whole loop. It was clean, the grass was green and it has a great little lake for fishing or just paddling around.

The campsite is great but the owner was awful. He picked fights, called us names and kept threatening us. Never have we seen a more determined to be angry man. We were quiet, respectful and followed the list of 17 rules that they have laid out. Unfortunate that they own this beautiful property but treat their guests so poorly.

We have camped here MANY times in the last 3 years. We have a TT and always pick the overflow area in the field. They have always acomodated our request for that area. It is wide open. Pick a spot and set up...no need to back into a tight spot. Put out your awning set up chairs and tie out... More

My family of 11 camped for 6 days here. We mostly had the grounds to ourselves, Sunday through Friday. Warm showers were welcome, but bring your quarters. Deer are plentiful, since it is one of the only green areas around the lake. There are trout in the lake to be caught if you have a strong boat rower with you.... More

We really like this place but we avoid weekends during the summer months. There are great green lawns everywhere and a fun little lake for fishing or floating around on. During the summer months it is nearly deserted Monday through Thursday and you can have your pick of spots with few neighbors. Feels like you own private park at time.... More

The guy next to my site was not loud, they just stayed up late. And because we were so close to him I was up late.

Stayed in the campground with some friends. We booked 2 sites and were able to set up 3 tents. Our sites came with a picnic table and a fire pit. The lake is nice for kayaking. I think you can rent paddle boats from the owners. The campground is about 2 miles away from Winthrop, which is a fun little... More

Best place we've ever parked our Aliner in terms of the happiness of our dogs. Lots of grass, lots of birds/water to watch, no up tight "get them on a leash!" attitude from anyone . . . and when our dogs are happy, so are we! Seriously, we loved the place. Very clean grounds, lots of lake frontage, morning sun,... More

The beautiful grounds are very well-maintained, with regular watering and mowing. The restrooms are less so--in some need of maintenence but reasonably clean. The staff's communication with guests could be better. For example, nobody mentioned to us, if you want to take a shower, you'd better have some quarters along. We weren't the only campers to be surprised when we... More
