This small town Inn was acquired by a retired fireman and his wife, formerly of Starbucks, to fulfull their passion for a second small town career. They have succeeded in making it a very nice and relaxing place to stay. We needed to accommodate twelve for a family reunion in tiny White Salmon. By default, the Inn of the White... More

History: the hotel was built in 1937. The Inn is NOT a run down place at all. Everything is very nice and clean. If you don't like to stay in hotel chains, this is a place that's definitely worth considering. Location: The hotel is in a small town, yet everything is within reach. There are plenty of restaurants to choose... More

We were on our way to the Pickathon music festival in Oregon and overnighted at this fabulous European-style inn. The 6 of us stayed in the hostel room. A lovely space and reasonably priced for our group. The wonderful staff gave us great recommends for a nice dinner in town. Enjoy the Inn and small NW town feel in White... More

We stayed at the Inn following a hike in the Trout Lake area. This inn was built in the late 1930's but has been completely remodeled recently. The owners and desk staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions regarding area restaurants. Like most older lodgings, the bath was relatively small in size. However, the room was very quiet, clean... More

The town itself is wonderful, and the hotel is good. But I have to agree with Julie541 that it's overpriced. We did enjoy the beautiful and serene garden in back. $5 per person breakfast voucher doesn't go too far, but it was nice to get out & try a couple different places.

We stayed here before climbing Mt. Adams and stayed in the King Suite which was large with a King Bed and twin bunks. It was perfect for our group! Right across from our room was a huge lounge. There was a little kitchenette in our room with a coffee maker and microwave. Perfect since we needed an early start. They... More

Its like you step back into the 60s but at $138 youd expect to pay $65. Small extremely plan rooms with the smallest flat screen t.v. No coffee maker in room. Very clean, but not what were use to for close to $150. I know others seem to like it but if you're use to something a little fancy for... More

They were friendly and the place was excellent. Beautiful remodeling done with upscale feel to decor. Excellent offerings of local coffee, beer and wine, etc. I would recommend this to Noone staying in the hood river area. Gorgeous view of Mt. Hood . /

I've stayed in many places and I always find something that I don't like. I was expecting the same thing here but to my surprise the room was very cozy and clean, the staff very friendly not to mention the owner who personnaly showed me the best places in town. Everything you need is in a 5 minute walk and... More
