We stayed at the Inn following a hike in the Trout Lake area. This inn was built in the late 1930's but has been completely remodeled recently. The owners and desk staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions regarding area restaurants. Like most older lodgings, the bath was relatively small in size. However, the room was very quiet, clean... More

This place is totally fantastic we stayed in the hostel part and it is very nice, clean, and you can find double bed in a dorm! There is a very beautiful garden too and a beautiful living room. Its owners are really really nice and welcoming . If i could have said more than excellent i would have say that!... More

The town itself is wonderful, and the hotel is good. But I have to agree with Julie541 that it's overpriced. We did enjoy the beautiful and serene garden in back. $5 per person breakfast voucher doesn't go too far, but it was nice to get out & try a couple different places.

We stayed here before climbing Mt. Adams and stayed in the King Suite which was large with a King Bed and twin bunks. It was perfect for our group! Right across from our room was a huge lounge. There was a little kitchenette in our room with a coffee maker and microwave. Perfect since we needed an early start. They... More

Its like you step back into the 60s but at $138 youd expect to pay $65. Small extremely plan rooms with the smallest flat screen t.v. No coffee maker in room. Very clean, but not what were use to for close to $150. I know others seem to like it but if you're use to something a little fancy for... More

They were friendly and the place was excellent. Beautiful remodeling done with upscale feel to decor. Excellent offerings of local coffee, beer and wine, etc. I would recommend this to Noone staying in the hood river area. Gorgeous view of Mt. Hood . /

I've stayed in many places and I always find something that I don't like. I was expecting the same thing here but to my surprise the room was very cozy and clean, the staff very friendly not to mention the owner who personnaly showed me the best places in town. Everything you need is in a 5 minute walk and... More

First stayed here on my first visit to the town of white salmon. Nice comfy inn. Arrived late, as the keeper was leaving and just made it in. Stayed for a week, thoroughly enjoyed every night. Clean comfortable beds and rooms, quiet. Nice sitting area out back. Spent many hours there enjoying the silence. Since that first visit, I have... More

Clean, minimalist style room. The staff was very knowledgeable of the area and helpful finding the perfect place for photographing. We stayed here a few years ago when the rooms were full of antiques. We enjoyed that stay as well, however the newly renovated room was wonderful. Comfortable bed, very quiet even though located on the main street through town.... More
