The Churchyard Inn, Uniontown, Washington

We arrived at The Churchyard Inn Bed and Breakfast on a Friday in the late afternoon and found it even more lovely than portrayed at it’s website. We were greeted by the innkeeper and shown to our lovely room ‘The Rose’ on the 2nd floor. There is a resident owl but you can hardly call his late evening hoots noise! The windows are massive and provide for lovely views in every direction. There is also a small outside balcony on the 2nd floor to take in some fresh air and peaceful views.

We awoke to the wonderful smells of our breakfast drifting up the stairs. We had our breakfast in the dining room finding it even more delicious than it smelled! We stayed three nights and each morning had a gourmet breakfast better than the last! Unfortunately we could not stay for the month…or we most...

We have frequent occasions to be at Washington State University and are repeat guests at Churchyard Inn, 17 miles between Pullman, WA and the Lewiston/Clarkston area. It is a charming, spacious bed and breakfast in a historic building that was once a convent. It sits next to one of the most beautiful and historic Catholic churches in the state, and all rooms look out over the Palouse hills. Uniontown is tiny, but there is a tavern that serves decent food and good beer for an evening meal. Breakfasts at Churchyard Inn are tasty and hearty. Prices are reasonable.
